“I went for the first time earlier this week, and I thought it was great! Firstly they were very gracious about my indecisiveness on where I wanted to sit, and allowed me to switch tables. Twice. The bev list had a solid selection of natural wines from some of my favorite producers, but I ended up ordering a glass of one I've never tried before - a skin contact Carricante which matched nicely with the light char on our pizza. The food was fresh and vibrant, our server was attentive and engaging (sorry hun, I forgot your name, even though I asked a couple times, but you deserve a shout-out). Long story short, I went in hungry and slightly grumpy, I left happy and with a satisfied stomach.“

“I've never left a google review in my life but I cannot speak more highly of this place.

I made a big mistake about a catering order I placed 2 hours before an event that my nonprofit was holding. I spoke to who I assume was the owner of the restaurant and he was SO kind and accommodating. He created a catering order for me that he knew would feed the amount of guests at the event and due to my confusion (which was entirely my fault), without hesitation he offered to have it delivered to the event even though the restaurant does not deliver. I am certain that the amount of food definitely cost more than the amount that he charged me. He also offered to throw in free cookies after I shared we are a nonprofit. Not only was all of his kindness greatly appreciated by our organization but after the event ended, multiple attendees expressed how delicious the food was. One asked where the chicken alfredo was from so they could go get some themselves!! We have never received a post-event email about the food before!!

My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. “Frank Pepe's is my favorite local pizza restaurant. Their New Haven style pizza is a thin crispy crust with minimal toppings that's cooked in a coal oven.
It comes out hot and steaming and delicious.

Their tomato pie (only available in season) and their clam pie are unique classics.

My favorite is their pepperoni and cherry tomatoes. The pepperoni comes out crispy and lightly burnt and it's perfectly complemented by the spicy peppers.

It's great for kids and families, and it's a unique place for dates!“

“This was my first experience with Blaze Pizza, and it was fantastic. The build your own pizza option was ideal for group of friends out shopping and enjoying Boston. The original crust is perfectly thin and crispy and tasted freshly made. You get to choose your own sauce and they have many options. I got the creamy white sauce base with mozzarella, grilled chicken, black olives, roasted broccoli, and mushrooms. It was so good and was 6 reasonably sized slices. I brought half of mine home. You’d think a custom made pizza would take awhile, but it didn’t. The pizza oven was right in front so you could see your pizza cooking. They have a few dessert options, but we were too full to try any. I do think the s’mores pie would have been gooey perfection with just a few seconds in the pizza oven. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal!“

“I have a complaint to be made, the chef Orlin Garcia himself, who works at the establishment, said that Mr. Carlos, the owner of Mak's.the kitchen is very dirty, there are a lot of rats, if basic sanitation is improved there, people will run the risk of catching leptospirosis, the snacks are very tasty and very dirty. Max Orlim Garcia's cook brought me a snack, my son-in-law said don't eat it because Mr. Carlos, the owner of the pizzeria, uses leftover food from other people at the table or what's left over As I said, Americans drool with desire for this burger, even though it's leftovers from other tables. He's a dirty and disgusting person, and Orlim himself helps to remake the burgers.“

“Really good sandwiches! The panini and fries combo was MASSIVE and super good. Honestly, it’s like the most food in a sandwich and fries combo that I maybe have ever been given. The kids also enjoyed their pizza (which the cooks were enough to customize for them with pesto instead of red sauce). Everything was really affordable - especially in 2025 with the massive inflation everywhere. Strongly recommend.“

“I am a self-proclaimed pizza snob and generally only enjoy NY-style pizza, but Royal Pizza & Subs makes an excellent pizza that rivals what I grew up eating. The sauce was perfectly seasoned, the sauce-to-cheese ratio was ideal, and the pepperoni was high quality. The medium-thickness crust was slightly different from NY-style pizza, but so delicious that I didn’t mind one bit! (It was a bit softer and chewier than what I’m used to, and I didn’t notice any semolina flour on the bottom.) My spouse doesn’t usually eat the crust, but we both finished every last bit of our slices! The pizza was a little greasy because of the generous portion of pepperoni, but who would complain about that?! Nothing a few napkins can’t fix!

The staff were super friendly and the service was great: our pizza was ready so quickly! The prices were also extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food. I am so happy that this restaurant is so close to home: it’s going to become a regular place for us to eat at! The recent facelift is the spark behind this review on a WFH day pickup of the Monday special. What I dug the most was the branding from memento to the modern, by keeping / replicating a piece of the original signage. while waiting for my always evenly baked pizza, small talk about the construction and changes. Noting when buildings have murals on them before demolition, pieces like the Mandela Mural on Warren can be replicated & relocated or included in remodels, w/ all the tech now, we LOL . Oh yes, they are also “ in tech “ with the times. ?. Payment options are clear and even doing reviews like this are just a click of your camera screen . Its the small things that make a big difference for pride in community. Like a small family owned & local employer of a neighborhood pizza shop shows. “Favorite new pizza spot of the area!! Has the traditional style of New London style pizza, slightly greasy but not overly so, fresh baked, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Highly recommend the mushroom and hamburger pizza, as well as the Greek style. While they may not have the Wood-Fired pizza options that you might get at some other pizza places in Cambridge, you get really traditional Pizza. That is just really tasty and a really good value.

Also, while they are on delivery apps, always try to go in person if you were in the neighborhood as it is hard work to be a pizza place in this city!“
