“I went for the first time earlier this week, and I thought it was great! Firstly they were very gracious about my indecisiveness on where I wanted to sit, and allowed me to switch tables. Twice. The bev list had a solid selection of natural wines from some of my favorite producers, but I ended up ordering a glass of one I've never tried before - a skin contact Carricante which matched nicely with the light char on our pizza. The food was fresh and vibrant, our server was attentive and engaging (sorry hun, I forgot your name, even though I asked a couple times, but you deserve a shout-out). Long story short, I went in hungry and slightly grumpy, I left happy and with a satisfied stomach.“

“I've never left a google review in my life but I cannot speak more highly of this place.

I made a big mistake about a catering order I placed 2 hours before an event that my nonprofit was holding. I spoke to who I assume was the owner of the restaurant and he was SO kind and accommodating. He created a catering order for me that he knew would feed the amount of guests at the event and due to my confusion (which was entirely my fault), without hesitation he offered to have it delivered to the event even though the restaurant does not deliver. I am certain that the amount of food definitely cost more than the amount that he charged me. He also offered to throw in free cookies after I shared we are a nonprofit. Not only was all of his kindness greatly appreciated by our organization but after the event ended, multiple attendees expressed how delicious the food was. One asked where the chicken alfredo was from so they could go get some themselves!! We have never received a post-event email about the food before!!

“I live a long way from this store, but one night I paid an Uber to deliver the pizza in the photos. I don’t know how else to tell you, but this was the most delicious food I have ever eaten. It was like Heaven in a box. I couldn’t believe how tasty it was. Just thinking about how good it was makes me want to order another one. This store is open late and this particular pizza was thick pan, with a decadent selection of cheese, pineapple slices, perfectly cooked chunks of high quality bacon, topped with a nice drizzle of hot honey. It was like when Guy Fieri says flavor town. Just an explosion of magnificent flavors. God bless the person who made this pie. They deserve a big raise lol I couldn’t recommend this place more; this is the best pizza I’ve eaten in 46 years!“

“Great addition to Somerville! We stopped in and had a glass of wine at the counter while we waited for our pizzas to go. I love woodfired pizza and these did not disappoint. We had the Prosciutto di Parma and the Pollo both absolutely delicious. Very inviting atmosphere with fast and friendly service.“

“Lily’s Pizza is a happy accident we’re glad happened. We were just looking for somewhere between work and the train station, and it turns out this place was a winner. We went with the sausage and cherry pepper pizza, and I’m not going to lie—the crust really stole the show. Solid flavor, like, "I’d eat this crust by itself" good.

As for drinks, we tried the Lily's Smash. It was... fine. Definitely strong on the peach flavor, so if you're into that, you're in luck. If not, maybe skip it. No hard feelings.

“Very good pizza, especially the pepperoni one, we were very well served by Gigi, very friendly and attentive.
The only thing that bothered us a little was the hostess, a bald guy with glasses, who welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant, seemed uncomfortable with our presence, constantly looking at our table suspiciously. We were dressed the same as everyone else and our behavior was the same as everyone else there, so I really don't know what the reason was.

“Yesterday was the first time we tried the pizza at Pizzeria Enzina...Wow... and we are so glad we did. My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. We were thrilled at how delicious each slice was and we loved everything, from the taste of the dough to the generous amount of toppings and how incredible the vegan cheese on mine tasted so amazing...yes my husband and son both swiped slices of mine... it was that good. So happy we found you Enzina....my new favorite ....can't wait to try other dishes and the canoli too!!! We are so grateful for such a wonderful meal!!“

“I am a self-proclaimed pizza snob and generally only enjoy NY-style pizza, but Royal Pizza & Subs makes an excellent pizza that rivals what I grew up eating. The sauce was perfectly seasoned, the sauce-to-cheese ratio was ideal, and the pepperoni was high quality. The medium-thickness crust was slightly different from NY-style pizza, but so delicious that I didn’t mind one bit! (It was a bit softer and chewier than what I’m used to, and I didn’t notice any semolina flour on the bottom.) My spouse doesn’t usually eat the crust, but we both finished every last bit of our slices! The pizza was a little greasy because of the generous portion of pepperoni, but who would complain about that?! Nothing a few napkins can’t fix!

The staff were super friendly and the service was great: our pizza was ready so quickly! The prices were also extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food. I am so happy that this restaurant is so close to home: it’s going to become a regular place for us to eat at! We only tried the pepperoni pizza last night, but I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. If you’re in Somerville, don’t miss the chance to eat here!“

“Was a Boston resident for 60 years , moved to central Mass 6 years ago , still cannot find a really good pizza like the ones from Boston but I can honestly say whenever I head back there I'm usually stopping to grab a pie before I head back home and and I've got a thermal insulated bag , it's still hot enough to eat without having to reheat in the oven , highly recommend you give it a try but everyone has their own preferences , hope you like it as much as I do“

“This was my first experience with Blaze Pizza, and it was fantastic. The build your own pizza option was ideal for group of friends out shopping and enjoying Boston. The original crust is perfectly thin and crispy and tasted freshly made. You get to choose your own sauce and they have many options. I got the creamy white sauce base with mozzarella, grilled chicken, black olives, roasted broccoli, and mushrooms. It was so good and was 6 reasonably sized slices. I brought half of mine home. You’d think a custom made pizza would take awhile, but it didn’t. The pizza oven was right in front so you could see your pizza cooking. They have a few dessert options, but we were too full to try any. I do think the s’mores pie would have been gooey perfection with just a few seconds in the pizza oven. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal!“

“I absolutely love this place for casual drinks. It's quiet, service isn't obtrusive, and the espresso martini is to die for. I love all of the other cocktails I tried too.

Most days it's not terribly busy so you can grab a seat by the door, which lets you people watch all you want. It's fun to see people milling into Mike's Pastry across the street.“

“I have a complaint to be made, the chef Orlin Garcia himself, who works at the establishment, said that Mr. Carlos, the owner of Mak's.the kitchen is very dirty, there are a lot of rats, if basic sanitation is improved there, people will run the risk of catching leptospirosis, the snacks are very tasty and very dirty. Max Orlim Garcia's cook brought me a snack, my son-in-law said don't eat it because Mr. Carlos, the owner of the pizzeria, uses leftover food from other people at the table or what's left over As I said, Americans drool with desire for this burger, even though it's leftovers from other tables. He's a dirty and disgusting person, and Orlim himself helps to remake the burgers.“

“Backwoods pizza is one of the last few quality pizza shops & community merchants. When you walk in you feel the family owned spirit behind Backwoods Pizza.
The recent facelift is the spark behind this review on a WFH day pickup of the Monday special. What I dug the most was the branding from memento to the modern, by keeping / replicating a piece of the original signage. while waiting for my always evenly baked pizza, small talk about the construction and changes. Noting when buildings have murals on them before demolition, pieces like the Mandela Mural on Warren can be replicated & relocated or included in remodels, w/ all the tech now, we LOL . Oh yes, they are also “ in tech “ with the times. ?. Payment options are clear and even doing reviews like this are just a click of your camera screen . Its the small things that make a big difference for pride in community. Like a small family owned & local employer of a neighborhood pizza shop shows. As the owner said “ Connecting the Past to the Future”
