“My Server Emily was Extraordinary. She is so Friendly and Attentive. She took my Order in a timely manner and saw to it that everything was to my liking. The Lasagna, Salad and Bread were delicious and filling. The Servers and Food are top shelf.“

“My wife and I attended today's 1230 Fireside Feast and it was definitely worth the two hour drive. The staff was excellent answering all of our questions and service during the dinner was over the top. The downstairs was crowded but everything was orderly with cheese and crackers, mulled cider and wine being served. The bar staff made some really festive cocktails. Once we were upstairs, the chowder was creamy and filled with clams. All of the food was hot and the prime rib was roasted perfectly over the fire. This was our first time going and will be back again next season. Thank you to all of the staff, not only host, servers, bar tenders and others we interacted with but also those behind the scene. These would be food preps, dish washers, chefs and anyone else who works at Salem Cross Inn. Merry Christmas and we will be back next season. Thank You.“

From start to finish, Amy — the venue coordinator — was an absolute dream to work with. She was organized, reassuring, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect for us. She went above and beyond in every possible way. At one point, I was literally about to walk down the aisle without my bouquet, and Amy stopped me, sprinted back to my room, and got it for me — talk about a lifesaver! I handed her all of my décor the day before, and she set everything up more beautifully than I could have imagined. It felt like she pulled the vision right out of my head. The food was incredible — our guests are still talking about it. Between the amazing service, the historic charm of the venue, and Amy’s unmatched dedication, our day was everything we dreamed of and more. “What a great spot! The staff was all amazing and greeted you as soon as you walked in, there was a large group of us and we ordered with food being brought out within 20-30 min! The atmosphere is great, every time you look around you see something you didn’t see before, like the portholes in the bar. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Cindy and Tim who were AMAZING and so friendly. The hot lobster roll and fried clams…. THE BEST!“

“We stopped for lunch on a Monday. There was plenty of parking, no wait to be seated. The restaurant was clean and inviting and the staff was efficient and friendly. We decided to get the lunch special which was salad and a personal size pizza. I considered it a good value for a sit down lunch. The salad was crisp and fresh as bd no water in the bottom of the bowl. It was one of t he better salads I've had when eating out. My only problem was the way the menu was unclear about which salads went with the special. I wanted a Chicago style pizza or deep dish but what I got was a thin crust pizza which I found to be drier than I would have liked. When I asked the server about why I didn't get the deep dish pizza she pointed to a sentence above the list of all the different pizzas that said Chicago was not available for the special. It would have been easier to spot if they had put that sentence on the section with the lunch specials, that's why I only gave 4 stars. I split my daughter's pizza with her and donated my dry pizza to a family that needed the food. Other than the pizza mix up it's was a good lunch spot.“
