We went in today (may 27) and they were busy as usual but our sever Kylie was fast and effective! It was also my 30th birthday and Kylie went above and beyond to make sure I felt special today. “I was at Val’s on a recent Friday night. Was greeted right away and brought to our table (of 6). The only thing better than our meals ( I had the pistachio Salmon!! To die for) was our server. She was friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the menu etc. can’t wait to go for dinner again! Definitely recommend“

Come and hear Ed Dix do a great job on songs you grew up with (if you’re an old timer like me) or Paul Janowski. The eggplant parm is tops. Also the blackened haddock tacos. And our friend Russ (BIG eater) said that the chicken parm was the best he ever had and the waitress said just about nobody finishes it, but he did. Great people at the bar and in the dining room, don’t hesitate for a minute to come here, to a historic stage coach stop. My wife Janet’s favorite restaurant.“

“Enjoyed a delicious dinner at 308 Lakeside with our amazing waitress, Jen. We started with a Clam Chowder & Loaded Bloody Mary, which is only available on Sundays. For entrees, he had the Cajun Prime Rib with a Cesar & Butternut Squash, which was full of flavor. I had the Baked Haddock with Mashed Potatoes & Bacon Gouda Stuffing. Everything was seasoned perfectly & the service was amazing. First time and not the last, looking forward to the new menu for fall!“

“I was at Bentleys Pub last night Dec 8. My server Debbie was very Friendly and Attentive. She is very nice and saw to my needs. She took my order promptly and made sure that my meal was served hot and as ordered. The Chicken Parmesan was delicious and filling. “We have come here for a few years now and the food was great. We loved the fried seafood and sometimes just stopped for ice cream. My son loves the fries and my other son loves the refillable sodas and ketchup. It’s easy going and roomy. The last two times something went wrong with our order and it took 45 minutes, then over an hour to get our food. They said they gave it to someone else and that person must have eaten it. I’m not sure how to correct that. We may try one more time, but if it happens again, we may have to give up. Paying for dinner with hangry kids is no fun.“
