From start to finish, Amy — the venue coordinator — was an absolute dream to work with. She was organized, reassuring, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect for us. She went above and beyond in every possible way. At one point, I was literally about to walk down the aisle without my bouquet, and Amy stopped me, sprinted back to my room, and got it for me — talk about a lifesaver! I handed her all of my décor the day before, and she set everything up more beautifully than I could have imagined. It felt like she pulled the vision right out of my head. The food was incredible — our guests are still talking about it. Between the amazing service, the historic charm of the venue, and Amy’s unmatched dedication, our day was everything we dreamed of and more. “What a great spot! The staff was all amazing and greeted you as soon as you walked in, there was a large group of us and we ordered with food being brought out within 20-30 min! “We stopped for lunch on a Monday. There was plenty of parking, no wait to be seated. The restaurant was clean and inviting and the staff was efficient and friendly. We decided to get the lunch special which was salad and a personal size pizza. I considered it a good value for a sit down lunch. The salad was crisp and fresh as bd no water in the bottom of the bowl. It was one of t he better salads I've had when eating out. My only problem was the way the menu was unclear about which salads went with the special. I wanted a Chicago style pizza or deep dish but what I got was a thin crust pizza which I found to be drier than I would have liked. When I asked the server about why I didn't get the deep dish pizza she pointed to a sentence above the list of all the different pizzas that said Chicago was not available for the special. It would have been easier to spot if they had put that sentence on the section with the lunch specials, that's why I only gave 4 stars. I split my daughter's pizza with her and donated my dry pizza to a family that needed the food. Other than the pizza mix up it's was a good lunch spot.“
