The food was decent but felt a little average for the setting; not bad by any means, just room to grow. The atmosphere was similarly middle-of-the-road. Overall a good experience carried largely by the great service.“

“We piled in this morning for a mini family reunion - and it was just amazing! We sat in a room by ourselves and ordered a variety of food and drink. Not only was everyone happy to be together, all agreed it was a perfect morning all around. “My wife and I attended today's 1230 Fireside Feast and it was definitely worth the two hour drive. The staff was excellent answering all of our questions and service during the dinner was over the top. The downstairs was crowded but everything was orderly with cheese and crackers, mulled cider and wine being served. The bar staff made some really festive cocktails. Once we were upstairs, the chowder was creamy and filled with clams. All of the food was hot and the prime rib was roasted perfectly over the fire. This was our first time going and will be back again next season. Thank you to all of the staff, not only host, servers, bar tenders and others we interacted with but also those behind the scene. These would be food preps, dish washers, chefs and anyone else who works at Salem Cross Inn. Merry Christmas and we will be back next season. Thank You.“

From start to finish, Amy — the venue coordinator — was an absolute dream to work with. She was organized, reassuring, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect for us. At one point, I was literally about to walk down the aisle without my bouquet, and Amy stopped me, sprinted back to my room, and got it for me — talk about a lifesaver! I handed her all of my décor the day before, and she set everything up more beautifully than I could have imagined. It felt like she pulled the vision right out of my head. “I love this Applebee's, its my go to for dinners out with my girlfriend. We usually get a meal each and some drinks and we always spend just under $60 depending on how much we drink.

I go almost weekly now to try and catch their happy hour after I get off shift. Speaking of work, I also do the pest control for this location which gives a huge boost to my confidence in the cleanliness of the food and drink prep areas.
