“Excellent place. Had a wonderful time at their fireplace feast. Tons of very good food. You will not leave hungry. Drinks were on the pricy side, but they pour generously and make very good drinks. Staff went out of their way to ensure every guest had a good time.Dietary restrictions: Staff go out of their way to make the meal fit your dietary needs. Had a person at our table with a dietary restriction and witnessed staff change out every portion of the meal that needed to be with a very appetizing substitute. Staff did a good job of making the substitutions without making a big deal of it.“

“Oh man, Annie’s got me bad?The one time I started to have an unpleasant meal, was when the bus boy came out and started clearing my plates before I was done. Hell there was a good two slices of bacon left. I ripped the plate out of his hand and yelled at him so loud. Annie came out and apologized for his behavior, and gave me a complementary meal. Really appreciate that.“
“There are not many choices for restaurants in the Rutland and Spencer areas. I find black & white has an extremely diverse menu. And it's almost impossible not to find something that you like. Definitely a place worth going to the ean get very busy. Best make reservations if you can. Particularly on weekends. They do have some options such as prime rib that are only served on certain days of the week. Overall, a very good restaurant with lots of choices. I recommend it.“
“My husband and I went here for the first time, and the food exceeded our expectations. My husband got the chicken Caribana with shrimp added, and I got the haddock stuffed with crab and whipped loaded potatoes. The taste of the food was so good. The appetizers were amazing as well. My husband got the sweet chili chicken tenders, and I got clam chowder. The waitress was very attentive and kind, and the cook is blessed with amazing cooking skills. I hope more people visit this gem because it is so good. The seating and inside of the restaurant is so cozy and laid back.We will definitely be returning.Parking: There is a small parking lot next to the post office, it is convenient.“

We called a few times to get it resolved and it feels like we're being ignored so the issue isn't resolved but other than that, everything is great! Our friends recently moved to the area and we have been a few times now.“
“I’ve been to plenty of seafood restaurants from Maine, to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, etc., all the real deals but I can honestly say Ronnie’s is second to none. Family run and the owner - brother’s are doing the cooking every night, the care and quality shows. Never disappoints. Top quality seafood and the home made ice cream tops it all off. A local favorite and really worth a ride in from Boston or elsewhere, for a casual clam bar experience and the best seafood.“
“We just stopped by for lunch on a whim after seeing the name online. We had the best lunch experience! The owner is amazingly sweet, and makes a delicious sandwich! We loved the cute decorations and would absolutely recommend this place for a heartwarming handmade meal!!“
“I had a Greek omelette and a grilled hard roll...absolutely amazing. The omlette was giant and stayed so hot until literally the very last bite! Our waitress (Holly) was amazing. Great sense of humor, quick to jump when we needed something. And we had to wave her down a few times.Sidenote: not an issue for me, but they do not take credit cards. However, venmo and cash app were accepted.“
“These guys brew so many different beers, it's probably my favorite brewery in Central Massachusetts. (Including you-know-who in Charlton). They have an excellent variety of different styles and flavors, and they aren't constantly changing names of their beers just because they lost the recipe. Their kitchen is small, so you're not going for a full meal, but all of their snacks are great. They have a good setup. The only thing to remember is that dogs are outside only - East Brookfield rule, not theirs. Makes it hard when it's colder out. However, they have a covered area outside, as well.They do some cool special things too, like craft fairs, smores cooking sometimes, and other different things to engage with the community. Pretty sure they have a corn hole league, too.Anyways, I highly recommend.“
