“My fiancé and I stopped in yesterday for pizza and I had to write a review. People can be quick to complain and don’t always say the good. First, the restaurant was very busy while we were there and it was clear they were understaffed. I saw three people working the floor. One out front doing take out, one running the bar and one waiter working the floor. To top it off, there was a birthday party with about a dozen guests. Our waiter was outstanding. Taking orders, making drinks, bussing the tables, he handled the stress unbelievably well and was pleasant and funny. Our food was delicious and came out piping hot. None of them missed a step. We will definitely be back. Kudos to the team and management well done!“

“First time visiting. We visit a lot of Mexican restaurants in and around the North Shore, and have our favorites. This is for sure a new favorite for us. The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. The restaurant was spotless, I mean, SPOTLESS, including the restroom. The rest of the staff checked in, and the food was excellent.“

“First, I'd like to say I tried contacting Charlie's before I went this route. I didn't get a response. I've been to Charlie's with a group of 8 for lunch. It was very good. We got what we ordered and everything was delivered together. On Friday, 4 of us went there for food and drinks before the Folk Festival. Okay, Corona, I asked for lime. Didn’t get it. No biggie. Two of us ordered hamburgers, one ordered a tuna sandwich, the 4th haddock. Nope, no haddock. Okay, sirloin tips. Nope. Country chicken. Nope and don't know what it is. Okay....I'll have a hamburger. 15 minutes after (mind you 25 minutes have already passed), sorry. no buns. How about white bread! 40 minutes after initial order, hamburger on white bread and something resembling a tuna sandwich (?) arrives. We felt sorry for the waitress. But definitely poor service. I'm sorry I have to post this, I like helping local businesses, but lack of listed items was horrible.“

“This Margaritas restaurant was connected to our Holiday Inn hotel in Salem, NH. Our server was Lynette and she was amazing! “This was my first bad experience here other than that I love this place lol. Had an unnecessarily rude and frustrating experience with one of the bartenders. I explained that I lost my wallet and only had a photo of my ID. Fine, if you can’t accept it, I understand but what really annoyed me was that he refused mine, then turned around and didn’t even bother ID’ing my boyfriend. ??? When I asked why he said he “assumed his age.” Then they avoided the entire side of the bar for the next 40 minutes. Another bartender got our tab. It seems like the manager came out to the bar to stare at us the entire time while I sip my sprite so that was strange & uncomfortable too.“

I can't speak to authenticity, but as someone who isn't the most adventurous eater, this place was really great. The Naan and meats were delicious. We really enjoyed having multiple types of Naan to mix and match with our meal. I had the 65 Chicken at the medium spice level and loved it. We tried a variety of the curries and passed them around. For a family of 4 with one drink each it was just about $100, so very reasonable when most of us came back with leftovers. The service is fast. Don't be fooled by the inside. It isn't anything over the top, pretty barebones, but when the food came out we were amazed. I know we will be coming back here to try more of their expansive menu.“

She has been an employee for some time and is extremely competent; she would be an excellent trainer for the wait staff. The 99 across the street should hire her because they are in dire straits; she could save them by showing them how to treat customers with respect and make them feel like valued guests rather than just another number. Since they opened, I've been a regular customer and have never had a poor experience. On the whole, James is our night shift waiter, and he's fantastic. He never makes a mistake or forgets anything, which is really helpful because I'm quite particular about the details when it comes to my food, and he never lets me down. It is good that he has a wonderful, cheerful spirit. The Sunday bar discounts and the 3 for 10 are two of my favorite things about this place. The staff is always so kind and helpful, and I never have any problems getting my questions answered or concerns addressed.“

Edit: We catered from them for my brother’s wedding, and all the guests loved the dishes. Best authentic chicken biryani I ate at any restaurant.“
