“I’m from Southern California and for a long time have really only been into cooking japanese food, but Ive been extremely passionate about it and have made the majority of most common traditional Japanese dishes

I came to this place maybe 5 weeks ago and tried the kimchi jjigae on a whim after working something like 12 hours. I was tired and starving. And this jjigae tasted heaven-sent. I can’t describe how amazing it was, but even more beautifully it inspired me to try making it for myself

A few days later I spent a good $60 on ingredients to make it myself and while my jjigae to this day (I’ve made it maybe 4/5 times since then) isn’t as good as this resteraunts, even more importantly it inspired me to dive deep into the world of Korean cuisine. Thanks for the good food, but even more so, thanks for inspiring me to dive into a new culinary world. 6/5 stars“

“This is a great place to grab a drink and listen to live music. Not a place I would grab food again. I’ve given it a couple of tries and the food both times has taken a long time to come out. First time we had a large group (place was empty) but we decided to give it another try recently. We didn’t have elaborate meals - 3 meals for takeout. Salad, chicken and chips, and grilled tenders and cucumber salad. My allergy free salad had a crouton in it the first time I ate there and the chicken has dark black grill marks. The second time I ordered it with the house dressing and beef tips - it was told to me it was gluten and dairy free. Once I got the salad home, I realized they had packed blue cheese instead. The beef tips on it were terrible as well. The manager/owner comes out to discuss allergens but it doesn’t appear that anyone checks the orders like at other restaurants I have been to. I’m aware it’s always a risk going out but that shows they didn’t put attention to my gluten allergy free order either time. The cucumber salad was soggy and disgusting, not prepared that day. It’s an awesome place to check out for a drink and music but the food (at least options we selected) were not great regardless of the allergy vs non allergy items. Definitely check out for a drink and the music, great atmosphere for that.“

“Bittersweet Farms was the perfect setting for our wedding. The venue is beautiful and full of charm. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the right place. The grounds are stunning, the layout is thoughtful, and it has that cozy, timeless feel we were looking for. What truly made the experience exceptional was Abby, our coordinator. She was incredible from start to finish. She was detail-oriented, and so easy to work with. Abby made sure everything ran smoothly the entire day and handled all the little things before we even had a chance to notice them. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we could relax and enjoy the moment. “I had accidentally ordered with the other location and my GPS had taken me to this one. They were so understanding and had my order remade in about 10 minutes or less. They do a fantastic job of loading up the toppings compared to most brick oven pizzas I have ordered. You can tell everything is kept as fresh as possible. It tasted amazing. “We have never had a bad meal from Sweet Gingers. I've only been ordering from them for about 6 years, but every time I'm always impressed with the quality of the food. The lo mein always tastes fresh, the veggies are cooked perfectly, the fried items are not greasy, and the portions are always sufficient. Today, I truly believe my family and I met an angel.

We had dinner at Mikey B’s in New Bedford, and our server was a young lady named Felicity. I can’t even begin to explain the impact she had on us. In a world where people are always rushing and kindness sometimes feels rare, she was an absolute breath of fresh air.

Her smile, her kindness, her positive energy, and the way she genuinely connected with us made our entire day. What started as a simple meal turned into one of those moments you’ll never forget.

To Felicity’s mom and dad: congratulations. You raised an incredible, respectful, caring, and truly remarkable young woman. You should be incredibly proud.

And to everyone reading this, do yourself a favor. Go grab a meal, enjoy the great food, and if you’re lucky enough to meet Felicity, take a few minutes to have a conversation with her. I promise you’ll leave with a smile on your face and a little more faith in humanity.

God puts people in our path for a reason, and today I’m thankful He put Felicity in ours.
