“Breakfast sandwiches are okay. Bacon is thicker and chewy- not crispy. Bread is toasted well. I did ask for my sandwich well-done, and it was just toasted okay. I would imagine they’re not usually toasted well. The best part about the “crack” sandwich was all of the gooey cheese. It saved the whole meal. Who can go wrong with a grilled cheese? Egg was fried perfectly, and just a bit runny. Wish the bacon was better and the sandwich had a little seasoning. It was very plain. The cheese made it, really. But like I said, they really couldn’t go wrong with all of the cheese they put in there.“

“My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“

“Great Breakfast! Ordered the country omelet with home fries, Irish eggs benedict, and a blueberry pancake. Toast/potatoes/corned beef hash all could've been more well done in our opinion, but the pancake was AMAZING!! Big blueberries, very thick but cooked through and tender with crispy outside 😋 would come back for sure but would maybe just ask for it to be cooked longer for my liking“

“I just tried this place this past Saturday .. it was my birthday and this was my special treat. My husband got a dozen (all different kinds from maple bacon to cannoli.. to apple cider whoopie pie and more! )..And omg.. Best. Donuts. Ever. They are (by far!) the most delicious, lightest, fluffiest melt in your mouth, loaded with flavor, huge and just all around most fantastic donuts I’ve ever had in my life!! In my opinion, no place around here even comes close to their flavor/texture and just overall quality. If you like donuts, no, even if you think you don’t like donuts, run, don’t walk to this place.. I promise one bite and you’ll be converted into a donut lover!!“

“The hospitality is absolutely amazing! The owner is the sweetest person. Very happy we stopped in. The hummus is absolutely amazing, fried chicken did not disappoint.. and make sure you ask to try the BBQ sauce!! The chef even came out to ask if the food was good and introduced himself!!! “If you want a hometown diner feel, this is the place to go! Went for breakfast here this morning and it was great! The service, food and staff were awesome. I just had surgery on my hand and I mentioned to my cousin how an omelette would be easier to eat then picking up a sandwich. The waitress quickly chimed in and told me the cook will cut it into fours for me! I would recommend this place to anyone! 😊“
