“got takeout, went home and egg foo yong had no gravy on it. Called them up and told them about that. Not even two minutes later the woman called back and stated that's the way they make it! I have had this numerous times and there was always brown gravy on it and in container! She was very argumentative. For that reason , we will not be going back! DO BETTER!“

“My daughter & I went to Wei’s Restaurant for the first time…we were craving Lobster Ginger Scallion and they had a great twin lobster special so we chose Wei’s…It was a Monday and our usual place was closed….Im so happy we found Wei’s!!!!! We had amazing spring rolls that were so fresh and light crunchy and delicious! The best I ever had! Then we got the Peking Ravioli and they were also homemade! Not those regular hard ones they were like pillows of dough wrapped around a very tasty filling! Again the best I ever had! “Got a combination plate and it’s easily enough for two and under 20 bucks. The chicken fingers were perfectly cooked and the correct ratio of chicken to batter 🙌. Chicken wings were very tender, and they don’t skimp at all on the chicken and broccoli. Service was efficient, quick, and kind. Will definitely return here and try some different things.“

“The staff here are so nice. We got the three rice combo and it was enough for two people to split. We tried the roast duck, char siu bbq pork, and pork belly. The char siu was our favorite.

This restaurant is take out only and only has street parking. It is right across the street from the Oak Grove T stop.“

Only issue with the place and believe me you'll learned to ignore them because of how good the food is, sometimes when they say 20 minutes for pick up its more like 45 minutes but that's fine. Their prices seem to be on par with other Chinese food places in the area, in my opinion all Chinese food is over priced but hey can't fault them for wanting to make money. Their food is well worth the price. we spend about $65 every time we go. It's enough food to make 2 adults uncomfortably full with enough left overs to do it again the next day. It's just as good reheated.“

Chicken wings are in some type of breading not like the other places were you can see the hairs on the chicken.I’ve been loyal and stick to this spot as I’ve tried others and food doesn’t compare . “I know every Chinese restaurant was mobbed yesterday on NYE 12/31/25. On Tuesday 1/30 I placed a phone ordered with Hong Kong Cafe II in Peabody for a 530 pm pickup on NYE. I got there early and the place was mobbed. They called out peoples names as orders where ready. After 30-40 mins of waiting, we determined my phone order was lost, so they took my order on the spot, and prepared it, which was ready in about 10 mins. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious when I got home. I called the restaurant to compliment them today 1/1/26.“

“I got take out at the Golden Ginger for the first time in years, the service was great and the food was all delicious and freshly made to order. I had stopped going there when I had started eating gluten free food, however, I just realized that they now have great gluten free options including my favorite, General Gau's chicken! Family members who don't eat gluten free loved the hot & sour soup, the spring rolls, the boneless honey ribs, and the beef and broccoli.
