“I was in here when there was a woman screaming at the cashier when that she walked all the way here in the heat and they got her order wrong. The two gentleman behind the counter kept their composure and professionalism as they tried to resolve the situation. She then left in a car. I commend the staff of their patience and desire to make the customer happy even when it feels undeserved and I hope the manager gives them proper recognition of their hard work.“

“The donuts are amazing but this review is for Ruben, the manager at the Rt 1 location. I had to travel for business today and it happens to also be my son’s 15th birthday. Because my son has celiac disease, options for baked goods is limited, especially when your plane lands at 6:30pm on the big day and gluten free options aren’t known to last long once baked. Unfortunately, living in Southern New Hampshire, delivery via UberEats or GrubHub wasn’t an option But, being a father himself, Ruben kindly offered to deliver them personally after work. This man went above and beyond, first driving home to pick up his kids. You see, his wife needed to get to her job so he brought his kids along for the adventure. In addition, he refused all forms of tipping despite my repeated insistence. He explained that he hopes someone would do the same for his kids if he was in my position and, as the manager, he felt compelled to make it happen. Ruben, you’re an angel, one in a million, an amazing human! I hope you receive back the blessing you bestowed on me and my son 10-fold! Thank you isn’t enough. To those reading this, please leave an extra big tip for Ruben next time you stop in. I sure will be.“

“Just had a great experience at the check out counter with a man that was 100% about customer service. I could just tell he was totally invested in his job and when they didn’t have the variation of coffee I wanted, I still wanted to give the man a tip, but he surprised me further by covering my drink for free because they couldn’t quite make what I wanted. “Here from Chicago on a rainy Sunday morning. Looking for a breakfast place near our hotel. Saw this online and was 5 minute walk so we headed over. Surprisingly great coffee is always a good start. The food was delicious! Pancakes were thick, light and fluffy. Good sausage and eggs. Service was very attentive- seemed to be a family run place. Highly recommend!“

“Cute little city coffee cafe! Just a hop in from right off the main streets, they had a really nice selection of coffee, teas, pastries, soups, salads, etc. It’s very cozy inside with tables, chairs and low lighting. It was decently quiet inside, and the staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions. We got two pistachio lattes and they were incredibly good. Not too heavy on flavoring and they didn’t taste artificial. Overall, a nice stop for a bite and drink.“

Never, have I ever had a bagel that good. It was so amazing. My husband had a turkey sandwich. Which, we LOVED. We are going back before we leave Boston! This place is a Gem!!!“

“Got a variety of tarts (classic egg, strawberry custard egg, jasmine matcha tart) and a strawberry matcha latte on a Monday afternoon after lunch nearby. There was a promo where if you buy 2 tarts you get 1 free. My favs were the strawberry matcha latte and jasmine matcha tart.

The strawberry jam/syrup is the best part of the drink, perfectly tart and just sweet enough. It even has chunks of strawberry in there that were really good. Make sure to grab the thicker straw if you get this drink so you can mash the chunks of berries down more.

Jasmine matcha tart had mochi and adzuki paste in it. Mochi was more like the milk mochi texture that you can get in some shops, so gooey-er and I thought it went well with the other textures. There was a decent amount of bean paste in there, which I really liked but for people who don't like beans at all, maybe skip because you could feel a bit of that texture. Tastewise, I noticed more jasmine matcha and cream than the adzuki. I hope this is a staple because I would plan to get this every time I visit in the future.“

“I was back in Adams Village today (my old neighborhood) and as I crossed Gallivan Blvd, my 4 year old said “mummy!!!!!!! look at the smiley faced balloons!!!” I pulled over and asked the woman at the register if she would be willing to sell me one of the balloons with my coffee order. “Absolutely love The Brew Coffee Shop! This is exactly the kind of place I’ve been looking for. I’ve always been a bit of a Starbucks person, but I wanted something different—more of that local coffee shop feel with fresh, quality espresso and fun specialty drinks. The Brew nailed it.

I’ve tried the Cookie Butter Latte and, most recently, the Coconut Latte, and both have been amazing. Seriously delicious and full of flavor—these drinks are 🔥.

The staff is friendly, the service is consistently great, and you can tell they really care about the experience they’re creating. It’s refreshing to find a local spot that delivers such great coffee without feeling commercial.

I didn't see vegan pastry options, but I admittedly wasn't looking for them, so might have missed one.“

“Had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tour guide(s) at 4 pm. The main leader, “Sarah,” definitely made the experience worthwhile. There was a giant group of young kids that weren’t paying much attention (as young kids do-not a complaint) yet we were able to learn and enjoy the amazing museum and experiences nonetheless. They were very accommodating, humorous, and well equipped to handle large groups of people while keeping their attention. We liked the experience and would go back.“
