“The ribs are some of the best I’ve had, and the brisket is better that Terry Black’s in Austin IMO.
They don’t go crazy with black pepper in their crusts which I love since it doesn’t overwhelm the other flavors.
Big portions and reasonably priced. What’s not to love?“

“We got take out from 2 Jerks tonight. Beef Rib, Brisket, Pork Ribs and Chicken wings with Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. It was absolutely amazing. The flavors were great and cooked to perfection. The sauces were all great as well! 1000% recommend. I’ve had most of the bbq places in Massachusetts and it’s the best hands down.“

“Amazing experience! The quality of the food and the service staff are just incredible!! The variety on the menu is really nice! And what about the cooking options for your steak?! And the taste of the food??! They are really accurate and give you exactly what you ask for! The price is really cheap for the quality and amount of food you get! I definitely recommend it!!“

“I decided to try someplace new with my kids (first time for them, I've been myself before). Our waiter Jason was absolutely amazing with them. He did magic tricks and was really into entertaining them. Waiters like Jason are what make dining out an "experience". Westgate is really lucky to have him!“

“Wow — the food here is absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was so, so good, but the pork belly brisket sandwich completely blew me away. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before — melt-in-your-mouth perfection! The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, perfect for enjoying great food without any rush or noise. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you haven’t tried Freedom Barbecue yet, you’re seriously missing out — do yourself a favor and go!“
