“It’s a small cozy café with around 5 to 6 tables inside probably can fit around 20 people at Max, but it had one of the best kunefe I’ve had in recent times! I’m so interested in trying the lamachun next time and a bunch of other Turkish dishes. I’ll definitely be back.! “I’ve been eating here for a long time and generally enjoy the food. The chicken is flavorful, and it’s one of my favorite peri-peri spots. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The rice and chicken portions are often quite small, and the rice is not always fresh. At the same time, the salad portions tend to be very large compared to the rice. A better balance between the sides and more consistent freshness would make the overall experience even better.“

“This is the best experience I've had at a restaurant in a while. It's snowing like crazy and it's freezing outside where I've been working all morning my brother surprised me and had me meet him here for my birthday and I've never been here before. First Juan Carlo was very hospitable and gracious with his greeting and said it your cold and not getting food you can just warm up but we were going to dine so we ordered and Juan Carlo made feel special and great on my birthday they made this a birthday to remember I would tell anyone I know and I will that this location is one of a kind and you should definitely come for the experience and the food is amazing as well!! “The food alone would earn five stars, but the owners make this place so incredibly special. In all my years of dining out, I have never encountered hospitality so genuine and warm. The pizza is great, but the Mediterranean food is where they shine. When the owner discovered I was vegetarian, he personally invited me back the next day for the best falafel sandwich I have ever tasted (on the house!). Genuinely one of the kindest and most sincere dining experiences I have ever had! Could not more highly recommend!“

“For good chicken and great service, RUN DON'T WALK to Dave's Hot Chicken!
My wife and I came up from the Deep South to vacation in the New England states, and had never heard of Dave's Hot Chicken. We placed an online order and when we went to pick it up, there had been a miscommunication and my order was delayed by several minutes. I waited patiently, and the young lady behind the counter apologized profusely when she discovered the error and offered me a choice of items to make up for the wait. She didn't have to do that, but she was skilled enough in customer service to know how to save goodwill with a customer. (I worked a lot of fast food when I was younger: I know how it can be.)
The restaurant was clean, and the food was delicious! If we had Dave's in Georgia, I'd be as fat as a bear. The Top Loaded Fries were *on point,* and the chocolate shake was awesome.
If we ever make it back to Boston, we'll be eating at Dave's!“

“We are repeat customers of Maaz’s and we wanted to just let the staff know that our gyros and especially french fries were the BEST we have ever gotten by far from you guys. We are so happy with how much seasoning and how crispy the fries are, they are the best batch you guys have ever gotten, keep that supplier whoever it is! The gyros were also huge!!! Rarely I say any place is worth visiting, but this one is.
Caution: if you have high heat tolerance, only go as high as Hot. 🥵 anything hotter is at your own risk.

She took the time to walk us through the menu, gave great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for, and checked in just the right amount - never too much, never too little. Even when the restaurant got busy, Milli stayed calm, kept a smile on her face, and made sure our drinks were always topped up and our food came out perfectly timed. She clearly cares about giving guests a great experience, and it showed in every interaction. Service like this is what turns a good meal into a memorable one. “A new Indian restaurant in Kenmore, with awesome flavorful food and good value for money, specially their numerous delicious buffet course ...highly recommend. The mango lassi has the authentic Alphonso flavor ( not the run-of- the-mill slush you get in the other restaurant) Service was friendly and prompt!.

“Nachlo is truly one of the best spots in Boston. The food is absolutely incredible, fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Every dish tastes homemade and full of character. The owners are amazing and genuinely kind, and the staff is just as warm and welcoming. You can really feel the passion behind this place. The atmosphere is lively, cozy, and just such a great vibe overall. I cannot recommend it enough!“

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. “We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.“

Another plus is that they are open late and inside of a convenience store. Super convenient and quick to grab and go from this place.“

“I had an amazing experience with Moroccan food. The flavors are rich, warm, and full of spices that blend perfectly together. Every dish feels like it’s made with care and tradition. The tagine was tender and full of flavor, and the couscous was light and delicious. I also loved the fresh bread and mint tea — it made the whole experience even better. Moroccan food is not just a meal, it’s a cultural experience. I highly recommend everyone to try it at least once!“

“On one of the first days at my company, a colleague took me to the old New York Deli on Temple Street and introduced me to Kadhim. I couldn't understand why he would take the time - it's not like this guy is going to remember me out of all of the people who come through there. My mistake - every time I would see him over the years, at whatever location, Kadhim would come from behind the counter and greet me by name like an old friend. Understand - he was told my name once, over 20 years ago. I don't even go out to lunch very often - sometimes it would be years between visits to one of the Falafel King locations. But every time I enter, it's a big smile and greeting and an expression of appreciation that cannot be faked...go check them out!“

“My family’s favorite pizza! The people there are also always friendly and helpful. My 17 year old said the chicken bacon ranch pizza is the best they have ever had. I love the cheese so much - I know I should also branch out but it really is so good. Also, the salad and their ranch dressing is so good, fresh, and I loved that it had lots of carrot and cucumber slices, and green pepper. Yum!“
