We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! It’s no surprise that it’s hard to get a reservation.“

Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Great first impression, can't wait to go back, solid A leaning toward A+.“

“We stopped by here on Halloween needing some fuel for our trip to Salem! It did not disappoint! We were welcomed with smiles and free falafel tasters. It was a Friday special so we had extra falafel with the falafel bowl order too. I ordered the falafel bowl, which was INCREDIBLE! My husband had another bowl which I can't remember what it was called but it had egg in it - he also enjoyed this. There is a small seating area inside and some additional seats on the street. It was reasonably priced for the centre of Boston and I'd highly recommend! Updated from previous review on 2025-11-29“

“Five of us went for an early dinner. Everything was exceptionally fresh and delicious. The pita bread is to die for. We ordered Latkes (nice and crisp, very good); chicken shawarma (delicious-- love the pickled vegetables in the pita sandwich); the lamb burger (my husband can't stop talking about how good it was); the hummus bowl, and the street cart rice bowl. In short, everything was excellent AND affordable (something that rarely happens in the Boston area these days). We will be coming back, frequently. Be advised that the setting is more like a cafeteria than a restaurant, simple and modest, where you walk up to the counter to order. They have a few drinks where you can add a shot of alcohol but that's not their focus.“

While the restaurant isn’t fancy and the space may not be as clean as some might expect, it’s perfect for a quick, satisfying bite. “We went to Sorellina yesterday (Saturday night) at 5:30 pm as that was the only reservation I could get at one of the top restaurants in Backbay Boston. Boston has some good restaurants but getting reservations on a Saturday night if you don’t have one is going to take a miracle.
Sorellina is an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant and it is also a one of the romantic places to dine with beautiful ambience. They are known for their fresh pastas and seafood.
Their service is impeccable and they really go overboard with it.
The food was amazing as well. We tried the tuna tartare, the oysters for appetizers. We shared the mafaldine a mushroom pasta for primi, and the veal chop Milanese for entree. Just one thing was that the veal was a bit overcooked.
We tasted the non-alcoholic Negroni count-me-in and the Guinness zero stout which were almost like the real thing.
Most of all I was impressed by their wait staff and their service so we gave them a very big tip.
I am sure I will return here for another meal.“
