“Usually, shops like these tend to make their desserts on the sweeter end, but it doesn't seem like the case here. I got the Fresh Mango Coconut Jelly this last Sunday, and it was scrumptiously delicious. The mango was fresh and the coconut jelly was not extremely sweetened, which is always a plus if you are more cognizant of the daily amount of sugar consumed. The overall establishment is small, but this creates a more cozy and intimate vibe. The service was great and the wait time was more than reasonable.I would highly recommend this place! ?“
“Soups here are very good and flavorful. The service is quick (implied by the name 10 second delivery) because the prep is done in advance. If you get takeout, expect noodles and most toppings to be packaged separately as trays to one container. Parking can be found on the side road. It's located behind Wollaston station.“
“This was my first time to Coco Leaf, but I was really impressed by their staff. I had ordered two drinks including a fruit smoothie before meeting up with my friend. Unfortunately, my friend was busy so I had to wait about 30-45 min before meeting up so I decided to sit in the cafe with my drinks and do some work. The staff member saw that I was there for about 10 min without drinking and asked if I needed to refrigerate it in case I was waiting or otherwise the drink would melt and not taste its best. I was grateful for their observation and kindness. Definitely returning to this boba spot and I can see why they are so well-known outside of Boston. :)“
“Great portions for great prices! I ordered a 5 piece chicken wing for 12.99 and the portions were HUGE. I only ended eating 3 wings which filled me up. Perfect seasoning and crisp. The mashed potatoes were also delicious, melted in my mouth. Definitely coming back here again! Support local businesses!“
“The restaurant is primarily known for their variety of rice noodle soups. While i enjoyed the food here, i felt that the food and experience here fell short of DAGU Rice Noodle which is only a couple minutes drive away and with similar items on their menu. The noodle soups that i had here were much saltier than Dagu but not as flavorful and aromatic. At Dagu, i wanted to keep drinking the soup but not so much here. Service was also a bit slow and the food took a while to come out. Parking: Easy street parking on same street as restaurant and side streets. Do not attempt to park at the mini parking lot behind the building of the restaurant. Your car will get towed (the parking is not for the restaurant).“
“I highly recommend this place for Asian desserts and frozen yogurt. It's very clean inside. The staff are super nice. My friend had an allergy and they said they were able to accommodate the dessert she wanted to avoid her allergy, but she ended up getting something else instead. We got the yin yang and the red raider. We got it hot, the tofu under the soups is cold. It was very good. I want to try their whole menu!“
“I have tried a few things here. My favorite so far is the Passion Fruit Green Tea with Boba and Basil Seeds. I get it with light ice and regular sugar. My daughter could LIVE on their strawberry milk tea with boba. They also have a delicious Chocolate Bubble Waffle. The people that work there seem very nice. We were trying to push my sister inside (she was in a wheelchair) and the people will come and hold the door open for you. They have a reward program too. My daughter LOVES that.“
“The Mochinuts are always so delicious here. We always get the Ube, Black Sesame, and Matcha. Our favorite drinks are Hong Kong Milk Tea (30% sugar) with herbal jelly and boba Passionfruit green tea. A must go place!Kid-friendliness: There are tables inside for sitting. Nice music and respectful staff. My daughter is 10. she enjoys coming here.“
“We love this place and I was really excited about their rewards program but I tried to use their rewards program tonight after buying a lot of desserts tonight and I gave them my loyalty card 5 seconds after I gave them my credit card and they said it was too late and I couldn’t get the points.I was devastated and kind of angry that they couldn’t apply the points retroactively. Make sure you show them your loyalty card first or there’s no chance you’ll get them“
“We were welcomed in and they made excellent suggestions me and my son home from college. Also I left my wallet behind ( never happened to me in 56years) They had it for me with a smile and over $400 cash. Left a nice tip and I thanked them , I told the I would leave a review. Genuinely nice people work hereThe coffee drinks were amazing. Go there it's right behind Pho Hoa same bldg very nice space .“
“Delicious boba - don't let the higher prices deter you - well worth the money. Clean and quiet, comfortable seating (though limited) just high quality boba drinks all around. They have red bean and taro flavors which isn't always easy to find.“
“Update because got a great reply from the owner: I have a Chinese friend also tried here and we both agree that we are not coming back. Not because of any bad, it is because nothing stands out. I don’t need a big bow of soup and + big noodle and the taste is mild or no “signature”. Make it smaller and tasty. Make people crawling or talk about it after they left. The place is clean, bright and nice. Keep this upThe soup is ok, a bit mild for me. You will need to be very hungry to finish the bowl. The chicken breast is better. Don't forget the cucumber to bring up the taste.“
“We came here on a Sunday night and were the only customers in the store. The space is small, but the ambiance was quite nice and felt very quaint overall. Their menu was pretty diverse and we took a bit to decide what to order, but I settled with the Oreo puff drink as it seemed the most unique. The drink itself was pretty delicious. The tea was well-brewed, the bubbles had a great consistency, and overall the flavor of everything was pretty great. I think that there could've been more Oreo in the drink overall though since it was labeled as such. Overall, it was a solid drink though and I wouldn't mind returning in the future to try something else on their menu! The fruit bucket in particular sounds super interesting and I would be happy to try that in the future.“
“Boba was good, we got the Cha Thai Green Tea and tasted great. However, I decided to leave it 4 star because the arcade was not available to play and feels like it's just a boba place and not what it was supposed to be (an arcade + boba). Overall, nice place, spacious, there were board games but it had missing pieces/cards.“
“Tried the mango slushy with mango jelly and mango poppers and the house milk tea with boba- delicious! I think this place makes better tasting teas than Kung Fu Tea downstairs. The only thing that Kung Fu Tea does better is that there’s an app so you can order ahead of time and you can select the sugar levels.“
“Gong Cha stands out among the myriad milk tea establishments for its unwavering consistency. Amidst the diverse array of boba cafes in Quincy, it remains my preferred destination. Their opening just a few years ago on Hancock St. brought me immense joy. Each visit reaffirms my admiration, thanks to the consistently friendly and efficient staff. Furthermore, their occasional introduction of new flavors and specialty beverages adds an element of excitement. What truly sets Gong Cha apart, however, is the impeccable texture of their tapioca pearls—neither too firm nor too soft. The secret behind their flawless preparation remains a mystery to me, yet it's the sole reason I exclusively opt for toppings in my drinks from their establishment.“
“This place is pretty good. We got an iced matcha latte, an iced oolong milk tea, and a taro smoothie, as well as the takoyaki and popcorn chicken. The taro smoothie was my favorite. The food was good. Dark meat used for chicken which was different but good.My only qualm was the loud uncensored hip-hop music playing. I like hip-hop but having it uncensored makes it not a great place for kids, which we have. No big deal otherwise. :)No public restrooms. They give you a key to access them if you pay for an item. Restrooms not clean and had gnats flying all over but I assume that is more so the responsibility of the building than this business.“
“I absolutely love this place! I've been in many Kung fu cafes and this one is my absolute favorite, I wonder how because it the same business but different location... Anyways! I was there soooo many times and never regretted a single dollar I spent there. I went to get some boba with my friend once and we had sooo much time! My favorite boba is the Taro one. Yum! The place is also really clean and well decorated. It gives me amazing vibes! Employees seem very friendly! I'm obsessed with this place. Definitely visit it ASAP“
“This Sweet Sip is amazing, everytime I come my drink is always made beautifully and the guy who takes my order is always willing to recommend me drinks to try and describe the drinks to me! The service has always been pretty fast too.Every drink I've had has tasted fantastic. My favorites so far are the Rose lychee butterfly tea and the Purple rain milk tea ?“
“It is a perfect pick me up-- I always get the popcorn chicken with my little sister, it is moist, tender, and crispy. Delicious. For my main go-to I get the ramen bowls. The milk teas are pretty decent-- and have a variety of toppings. The food is definitely better, but while you're there you might as well get a milk tea or a slush/juice when the heat wave kicks in.“
“Definitely come here hungry! They have AYCE option that is worth it if you are hungry. The AYCE menu does not include everything that's on their a la carte menu, but the selection is good enough and you can always add on anything else from the a la carte menu for that price if you want. It is extra charge for the broths, some broths are $8 just for one side. My favorite would be the maw chicken broth. Sometimes we would get the entire pot with maw chicken broth. It is this creamy, coconutty, chicken broth that is very flavorful. We try not to get full off appetizers from the AYCE menu, but I do like the fried bun with condensed milk. The meat is definitely fresher than some other AYCE hot pot restaurants, I've yet to see anything slightly frozen-looking. Vegetables are consistent with most hot pot restaurants. I wish they had ramen, even instant ramen noodles would work. The restaurant itself looks nice and bright, good for pictures. Service can be slow sometimes, because some of the staff members just stand in the corner talking to each other or on their phones so it is hard to get their attention. One time, my family and I were waiting for someone for so long, I had to ask the manager for the bill on the other side where bubble tea orders are taken.“
“This Kung Fu Tea is located in a prime area in the center of the first floor of South Shore Plaza, the largest shopping mall in the South Shore. There’s almost always a line, but it moves relatively quickly. You can also place an order ahead of time via the app. Usually there are 3-4 people working the tiny stall. However, because it is a stall, there isn’t a dedicated waiting area, so it can be quite chaotic when it is busy. The quality of the drinks here are comparable to other Kung Fu Tea locations. I recommend the classic Kung Fu Milk Tea with boba. It also tastes good hot, especially during the cold winter months.“
“We made it in on a quiet Monday evening. It was my first time here. My daughter loves their bubble tea. They are in a great location in Randolph. I can see this being a great place to get a refreshing drink during hot summer days. I made some great selections from their appetizer menu, but I look forward to trying their Teriyaki and Ramen Bowls. The pork dumplings and shrimp shumai were good choices.“
