“There's a very kind chef working here. I believe his name was Jameoson or Josh or something. I usually go out to eat with my son as I am severely vision impaired and I have anaphylactic allergies that I need to watch out for. My son was not with me that day, so I went out to eat alone. I was having a lot of trouble deciphering the menu and when I saw this gentleman I asked him for some help to read the menu. You spent a good 10 to 15 minutes with me reading off the menu to me and explaining the various dishes that you offer. Once we decided on a pizza, he got my order sent in and personally made it for me. Also picked a nice bar drink as well. I love Chardonnay! It was absolutely delicious. After my meal I asked for him to come see me and I tried to give him a nice tip for all of his help. He turned down the tip and told me he was just happy to help me out. It was truly amazing service. Thank you chef for helping out an old man such as myself. I'll definitely be back to get another pizza thanks to his service.????? “
“I tried the Venus Cafe for the first time today for takeout. I ordered a green pepper onion and mushroom pizza. I got there early and got it as soon as he popped it into the box, so there was no time for it to steam in the box. I usually have my dog with me, so that's why I get take-out a lot. A little bit of flop at the beginning due to it being piping hot and loaded with toppings. Tasted great, and the price was good. This place is one of the goats of this style of pizza, ssbp. The only complaint is that they use sliced toppings, not chopped. And that's just a personal preference due to years of thinking I took a clean bite of pizza, and then a chunk of blistering topping comes with it and tags me on the chin. Lol. I went to the takeout side and dealt directly with the cook, and he was very nice. I have no clue about the bar area, but friendly kitchen staff speaks volumes for a place. I'm slowly trying all the places that do this style of pizza in the area, and this one did not disappoint.“
“One of the coolest places to hear great live music outside with some of the nicest Americans you will ever find around. Oh, and the brisket and roasted pig is top notch deliciousness. The bartenders are always making great drinks and do it with a smile and personality. This place is a rarity in any state, but definitely a one-of-a-kind place in the Taunton area. A must see!!!“
“We sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable on gluten allergies. The food was very good. The Italian chicken wings were amazing. We also got a surf and turf special, and lamb chops. My steak was cooked perfectly. The homemade desserts are so good. We will definitely be back soon.“

“Interesting evening as the woman sitting next to me at the bar kept flicking her long hair in a way that it hit me in the face, neck or shoulder. After the 3rd or 4th time, I had to ask her to stop. I moved my stool away from her and she continued to shake her head while talking with her date. No notice or intervention by restaurant staff.Mushroom flatbread was good and the inverted Cannock was great. Servo e was ordinary.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level entrance.“
“Great food, great menu in general...all the service was professional, responsive but discreet. I like the restaurant's sparkling appearance - but it was cold in the restaurant, so while my food came out steaming hot, it cooled quickly. Our server was very responsive, and it was slightly less cool but I still needed my scarf on. I'd like to have lingered (it was my birthday) but we didn't stay for dessert.“
“I won't give them a crappy review. I just moved to the city and I walked there tonight expecting the best deviled eggs and wings I've had in a while. They were not open despite being within the hours of the hours listed on Yelp. The website is also suspended so I am guessing the place is out of business. That's too bad. Looked like it could have been a pretty good place.“

“Have never been to this location while living close by and I wish I came sooner! Had Jenna as our waitress and even with how busy it was, she was super attentive and overall made it a great experience for my boyfriend and I. And the food/drinks were amazing! Can’t wait to come back soon!“
