Feels like a legit Japan-style restaurant where you can get a comfortable, familiar meal, by yourself or with friends and family. Delicious sesame salad and miso soup! The red pickled radishes with the curry were best. Attentive service and dishes are served at just the right pace. Plus enough for two meals!“

There’s definitely some new restaurant growing pains I’ve noticed such as the posted google hours not reflecting their actual hours, but something like that is an easy fix, which isn’t a big deal especially since the food is so delicious.“

“PaPa Sushi is AMAZING! Went here a couple nights ago with some friends. Everything we ordered tasted SO good and so fresh. Service was great, too—never had to ask for waters refilled, and our server even flagged us down when we nearly forgot our takeout. “Interesting sushi buffet. Very crowded, be prepared to wait to be seated. Once seated, if you select the buffet option, you then order from a list of offerings, standard sushi/sashimi fare. Trick is to account for the time between orders and keeping track of what you ordered so that you don't order too much, since they do charge a ka carte prices for items left over to discourage food waste. You have a 2 hrs time limit, but that's plenty of time. If you bring your appetite, you're in for a treat. If you didn't, then order from the menu. I'm an eater, so I highly recommend it.“

I ordered some salmon sashimi. It was incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth. Each piece was beautifully presented.

The service was top-notch too. The server was super friendly and really knew the menu. They offered great recommendations and checked in on us just enough to make sure we were happy without being intrusive. It made the whole experience feel special.

“We have eaten at Maki Maki over the years. Originally before covid. Skipped for a bit, but when back in 2024. First time back in 2025. Sashimi was good for salmon in the group's opinion. Beef fried rice was a bit salty. Getting water refills was a little tough. Understandable that it was a Saturday night. Probably will go back in the future.

The overall is good for Maki, sashimi cuts were small, but quality was good. Beef fried rice was good. Will be going back again.“
