“We usually call and check to see if our favorite server Christine is working, but she had the night off. So I ask the hostess to recommend a server who was good. Well She suggested Ashley, who was absolutely amazing! Great personality, great service, never felt rushed, checked back to see how everything was !! To top it off for the very first time in all the years I have been coming here this is the very first time we had a very nice Manager come to our table and ask how everything was!!! His name was Mike. He was walking around checking with other tables, helping deliver food. I was so impressed! “I went for a group holiday party with a set menu, but have a few allergies, so was very nervous to eat. However, the staff here was nothing but reassuring and accommodating. They communicated with us over the phone and when we got to the restaurant, they went above and beyond to describe my meal, their protocols, etc. The manager Adriana was extremely compassionate and knowledgeable and all of her staff was extremely professional. Food was very good as well, the warm bread and oil at the beginning was such a treat too!“

“We went to MOOO for my husband's birthday. Was greeted by Hostess' they had a special printed menu with his name and happy birthday. We sat at a great corner table with plenty of room for us and coats. The server - Kevin - was great attentive engaging. Up sold but did not push. Thank you for making MOOO a favorite of ours.“

“I went to Grassfields Food & Spirits for the first time yesterday for lunch. I had my 6 year old daughter and 1 year old son with me. By gods grace my kids have always been easy to take to dinner without stress, however yesterday my son wasn’t particularly feeling the best because he is cutting a new tooth so he was screaming his head off (on and off) and my daughter accidentally leaned too hard on one side of the table which flipped up the opposite end and my entire, full, iced tea fell and spilled all over the floor. I must give a shout out to the staff there for being so kind and handling the situation with empathy and respect. If I could have anticipated that the kids wouldn’t do well at the restaurant I would have opted for lunch to go (which is what I ended up doing anyway after all that). The waitresses did not give me an attitude or dirty looks or get upset, instead they offered to clean up the mess for me and get me a new iced tea. It may seem like a small gesture but it didn’t go unnoticed because not everyone is as kind, understanding and patient. It’s proven in the death stare I did get from another diner lol. I also must mention that when we finally got home and ate the food was fantastic! The kids teriyaki chicken and rice pilaf was the best! My scallops Florentine was delicious too! I will be back for sure… maybe without the kids next time lol.“

“Last night was my second time at Post 1917 in Lexington. Outstanding meal top to bottom. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the mushroom and sweet corn sides were amazing and the tater tots (I'd rename them mashed potater tots) are ridiculous. The service was fantastic and the reception my wife and I got from Lori was as warm and welcoming as the first time I was there with a different group. We have great steak house choices in Massachusetts and this one is among the top. Well done to everyone there.“

“I miss when they had more seasonal selections. In the previous years I had beers that I didn't even know existed. They should definitely bring that back. Other than that, the place is clean. Had the whiskey pepper boneless wings and they were pretty good. I do like that they have notch Salem lager on tap. You don't find that everywhere“

“We just had one of the best take out meals in quite a while! I had the filet mignon with french fries and a ceasar salad and my wife had the chicken on the barbie with sweet potatoe and house salad. My filet was done to perfection, was tender, warm and extremely tasty. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The brown Canadian bread was great as always. We did notice the salads were in new packaging which appear to yield less in the bowl, but that really didn't matter because the amount of food was enough to fill our appetites. Keep up the great work Peabody Outback!“

“My husband and I had reservations for 5:45 on NYE. It was incredibly busy in a “mostly controlled chaos” restaurant way. We were greeted warmly by the hostesses and told it might be a few extra minutes. We were seated 5 minutes later. Within minutes of sitting down we had bread, butter and drinks. V, our server, was spectacular. Truly. As someone who worked restaurants for years she's an MVP. She was given a 4 and 3 tables of 2 all at once. Usually it works- unless you're transferring tabs from the bar and have 2 additional high tops. V made it work in a way I couldn't have. The food came out perfectly paced, everything was cooked EXACTLY as we ordered it, and despite being completely overwhelmed (all the staff were) my husband and I had an incredible dining experience. We grabbed Scott the manager before we left to let him know how great V was and that we would back. He was kind, gracious and friendly in a way that is often missing from management in the restaurant industry these days. A 10 out of 10 dining experience all things considered. My husband and I love a really GREAT meal, but we return to great restaurants for the SERVICE. I always know I'm going to get a great meal at RC's- but the service is what makes it. The Ruth's C's in Waltham- we ask for Rodney, at the Somerville location- it will be V. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location for it's ease of parking, fantastic service (hostesses, food runners, servers, bartenders AND management) Thank you to ALL of the staff who were working so unbelievably hard under insanely busy conditions- your commitment to your customers and your jobs didn't go unnoticed.
