“Stopped in to the bakery this past weekend. We were staying at the hotel next door, making a visit back to our hometown for a family event. We fondly remember the bread from childhood and have been excited to see it and buy it in supermarkets near our Boston home recently. The rye bread is awesome, but I am also enjoying the chocolate and apple breads. My husband adores the soft slider rolls too. During our visit we had the opportunity to meet the congenial owners and have a brief chat. The owner was gracious enough to add some extra rolls to our order. our niece loved having them for her engagement party. The kindness was much appreciated and we look forward to stocking up on more bread when we return to Pittsfield this fall. In the meantime we will look for it in our local Shaw’s. Everything I tried off their bakery items were delicious. Very flavorful and well-balanced taste profile.Highly recommended“
