“my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. Then when we tried to take a selfie before we left and our waitress came outside and offered to take the picture. it came out great!! I highly recommend this restaurant.The food was delicious!!! Ummm no and as I’m trying to be polite you’re gonna make me insult the cooking anyway. SMH so I did so when I was then asked if I just did not like it. “Somewhere Else Tavern along Rte. 127 in Bryantville/Pembroke, Mass. I must say I've been at the building, since 2009 (15 years) when it was "Old School". It was a building then, a bar/restaurant of sorts, but now it is someplace special. Since Lori and Jayson, who also own the "Fork in the Road" delicatessen in Bryantville and the Olde Hitching Post restaurant in Hanson, took over the restaurant and renamed it, it is now a place for excellent food, beverages, and a wonderful, wonderful group of people, their patrons. What makes Somewhere Else truly special is that on almost every night, Jayson, Lori, or Lori's sister, Lee Ann, will be there taking care of their customers..... their friends. This past Sunday, was Lori's birthday and EVERYONE was included to celebrate her birthday, Chinese food (seemingly Lori's favorite), cake and ice cream shared with all. But best of all, was not the food, but the celebration of friendship.... Thank you Lori, Jayson and Lee Ann. For those of you who have not stopped by, do so. Just ate here last night (Friday 5/2)
Our server Paige was attentive despite having many tables. The drinks were delicious- tried my first Mint Julep! We were bold and went with the PB &J wings to try. They sounded so odd but also so delicious. They did not disappoint!

We couldn’t help but overhear behind us there was an issue with their order. After two visits from 2 different managers the people got up and left. We did ask Paige about it and she did explain the situation in a professional manner. When she felt she couldn’t resolve the issue, she got help from her managers. The people chose not to pay even though it was their mistake. And said they would give a bad review if they were forced to pay their bill. Kudos to Paige and the managers for handling the situation so well.

She brought our drinks quickly and took our orders and brought our food out hot. We got the Smash burger and Cowboy burger and they were cooked just the way we asked. “We rented out The View’s Tavern for our son’s first birthday party this past Saturday. From the first phone call to the last email, the owner Billy and his administrative assistant Cathleen, have been nothing but kind, helpful, and accommodating. The room was perfect for our family and friends (we had about 50 adults and about 12 kids). The patio was closed as it is the winter but I’m sure the room is even better when the patio is open in the warmer months. The cook made some delicious food that everyone loved - especially the meatballs. I chose to do stationary food options but you can also choose to do buffet style or passed hors d’oeuvres. The drinks from the bartender were great as well! Highly recommend The View if you’re looking for a room to rent for a party/gathering.“
