“I tried Worcester Sweets with my friend yesterday. It is a nice spot with very friendly staff. The iced vegan chai I got was very good, but there weren't any vegan options for food. I will most likely be back for another drink but it would be nice if there was something I could eat as well.“
“There aren't many cozy cafes in Worcester, so coming here it was very refreshing. We used to live in Boston!Once we got to the cafe, we were greeted warmly from the cashier/barista. The place is a whole vibe--pretty hipster, but in a great way. There's a barber shop in it, which is funny. There was also a good amount of people sprawled throughout the cafe on their laptops working away.Outside also has a nice patio. We sat here and sipped our coffees, as the warm morning sun helped wake us up.My fiance and I ordered two small iced americanos, $3.48 each. It has a tinge of sourness, but having added more water, it wasn't too strong. Maybe we will try asking for less water next time or even a quad shot!There were muffins for sale, not too many options. I don’t care though, because my main point was coffee!We will absolutely be returning for more--possibly even to work!“
“Great place, salt of the earth. Takes you back in time. I really hope a place like this can stay in the area with all the stuff going on around it. It’s old but has a lot of charm to it. Simple classic breakfast food. Nice view from the windows too, I’d say best view for breakfast in Worcester“
“Highly satisfied with my first visit! Came in around 12pm on a Saturday and was served quickly. Variety of menu items but not overwhelming. Tried the turkey club sandwich on sourdough, fresh bread and delicious smoked bacon with fresh veggies. The house blend cold brew iced coffee was GREAT. My husband liked his Americano, but unfortunately they lost his sandwich order. After a while he went to the counter to check in and the staff was very polite and quickly whipped it up for him. However, he asked for no bacon on his brioche sandwich (he’s vegetarian) and… there was a pile of bacon on his sandwich. Good news for me, extra bacon! We will try this place again because it was cute and we liked the coffee and baked goods.“
“I cannot say enough good things about On The Rise Bakery! Mara helped me make the most AMAZING surprise rehearsal dinner groom's cake for my husband. It had all of his favorites things on it, and was a decadent chocolate and peanut butter cream filling. Everyone loved it!!! She also made my wedding cake! The Flower design was breathtaking!! And no surprise, this cake also tasted fab! My guests are still talking about it! We did vanilla and chocolate cake with chocolate and espresso buttercream, SOOOO GOOD! “My ex-girlfriend put me on to Acoustic Java my sophomore year of college, and while that relationship didn't work out, I owe her my life (and GPA, and crippling caffeine addiction) for introducing me to this heaven-sent coffee shop. My personal favorites are the lavender latte (it sounds weird but it's incredible, I promise), the caramel latte (basic, I know, but it's so rich and flavorful), and for a quick bite, I absolutely slam back the avocado toast. I could go on and on about how great of a place it is to study, chat, enjoy live music, and just chill on any given day-- even if I sometimes have to run into my ex. It's worth it. I'm going to fall into a deep depression when I graduate, and won't be in the area anymore, but I'm enjoying it while I can.“
“Not the biggest fan of all of their donuts, but their Oreo donut is ??. Most of their flavored coffees are also fire. Service is always amazing. Some of the best bagels and bagel sandwiches I've ever had. “I googled bakeries in Worcester, I picked the first on the list and I’m glad. The cupcakes taste great, they had a nice selection of flavors which are all listed on their website, and I’m glad they had some decorated for Easter. I will say I would’ve liked the raspberry cupcake more without the filling. Their staff was so great and friendly, even with how busy it got. I’d go back for sure“
“I was competing in a bodybuilding competition and forgot my food when I left for the day. Out of desperation, I went in and asked if they could make me plain eggwhites with onions, peppers, and no oil. And they made it so on point, much to my complete exuberation. I was thrilled! They are so sweet and always deliver with a smile. When not in prep, an egg sandwich on an English muffin is my favorite! And I'm pretty picky with my coffee, and theirs is always perfect.“
“What a nice surprise to have a not conventional coffee shop in Holden. Well lit and spacious interior that provides plenty of seatings to enjoy a cup of coffee with friends or even work away from office. They do have sandwiches and donuts kind of things, but I only had a cup of Americano and it was good, I believe it’s because of the freshly in house roasted beans. BTW, they do have drive thru window too.“
“Amazing donuts, fast service and friendly staff. Being from out of town we happened to drive by this location in June of 2023. My kids and I are donut snobs so it takes a great donut to get 5 stars. The donuts were fresh and everything we were looking for. Wish we lived closer as this would be a regular stop for us.“
“It's a little dessert haven. I walked in on a Friday afternoon just after 4PM. The clean white walls and the smell of fresh coffee still lingered. At the entrance and around the corner from the counter, there's a hidden seating area with tables lined up. Behind the glass, they have different croissants, crumbs and cupcakes. I got the cannoli cupcake and a raspberry crumb to go. The server at the register was so helpful and patient as I made my selection. The ingredients in both desserts were fresh, especially the cream on the cupcake and the raspberry in the crumb. They weren't too sweet either! The only downside was that although they were considerably sized, most options were made from plain vanilla and chocolate as the base with the regular dessert toppings so there wasn't much of a difference in the flavor options. Also the cupcake was slightly overpriced at around $6, considering it was more cream than cake. Nonetheless, I'll definitely visit again and hopefully try the award winning coffee!“
“The owner's are friendly, interesting people who provide excellent service with a big smile! The cusomers are def an ecclectic mix of folks..just having a good time.. hanging out,talking, ready, playing board games. The cafe inside is adorable. It has a warm/rich feel to it and you def feel as if you've been transported to an old European cafe. The food is light and yummy.,The imported coffee beans make your fav beverages rock your world! It's the real deal. They have a nice mix of classic and modern Albanian music playing in the background. They have a little patio area outside/street side that's always lively. Give it a shot! (Lol) I def recommend it.“

“The girls here are always super pleasant and they have tons of iced and hot coffee flavors including seasonal rotations as well. My go to is the cinnamon sticky bun iced coffee and a chocolate frosted cake donut. Their griddle top is small but they turn out freshly made breakfast sandwiches FAST. I work on the Worcester/Auburn line and I stop in at least 3 times per week. Pro tip - You order and pick up at the same drive through window which can be a little time consuming so I often go inside to order.“
“4 stars because sometimes my cup is full of ice with 5 sips and sometimes there is hardly any ice-Food is typically spot on! Donuts are fresh! Sandwiches are fresh! But again sometimes lots of chicken salad and sometimes not enough to call a sandwich.Service is always great as far as friendliness etc.“
“What can I say, I love their Mocha Lattes and those little munchkins are great if you have a craving for a donut, but don't want to eat a whole one. And the wraps are good too, I enjoy the sausage, cheese and egg one. And customer service is always good.“
