“Another stop from our travels, we took another route from Sturbridge area and we had past this months ago. This time we knew we were headed there, so we wanted to give it a go. Food was good, beverages were good, it was not super busy. The last time we passed this place the lot was pretty busy. We both had the baked stuff haddock with lobster sauce. I had a Wormtown beer and my wife had White Russian style drink.“

“Overall good, my side dish was a bit cool. Not the servers fault. It would have been nice to be advised that the Kobe beef filet was so expensive. I didn't know the price until I received the check . It was nearly triple all the entrees on the menu.“

“My fiance and I go to the black and white at least twice a week sometimes more. All of the staff is great from Christina one of the managers to cam and Leann at the bar to all the servers we’ve had. We went in today (may 27) and they were busy as usual but our sever Kylie was fast and effective! It was also my 30th birthday and Kylie went above and beyond to make sure I felt special today. “This is a wonderful place! Superb atmosphere and supreme service, especially from Vanessa at the bar. Come and hear Ed Dix do a great job on songs you grew up with (if you’re an old timer like me) or Paul Janowski. The eggplant parm is tops. Also the blackened haddock tacos. And our friend Russ (BIG eater) said that the chicken parm was the best he ever had and the waitress said just about nobody finishes it, but he did. Great people at the bar and in the dining room, don’t hesitate for a minute to come here, to a historic stage coach stop. My wife Janet’s favorite restaurant.“
