“The food at Fatima's is absolutely delicious and very fresh. The owner is an amazing human being who is incredibly kind. My daughter loves a cake she makes, and Fatima was out of it on the day we were visiting the restaurant. I told the owner we would be back for cake on our next visit, when my daughter was home from college. The owner told me that there was no way my daughter was headed back to school without having her favorite cake. She made a special batch that morning, when she was not even open, in order for my daughter to enjoy it before she left. Both my daughter and I were in tears, we could not believe her incredible kindness. I hope this place succeeds greatly and is around for years to come! Fantastic service, incredible food, and kindness are a winning combination!“

“I or wife have eaten in the Sudbury restaurant about 5 times in the last few months. We love it, especially since my wife is of Lebanese descent. Pat is an outstanding, quick and very nice waiter.

HOWEVER - I WAS SHOCKED AT THE PRICE OF A DRAFT BEER. $14.00 is out of line, my wife's wine was only $13.00. We will continue to come to El Basha for the excellent Lebanese food, but I will be careful not to order a beer. Ice water is also great to have with a Lebanese meal.“

The staff went above and beyond — multiple people came by to thank us for coming, especially when they learned we had driven two hours to be there. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made the night extra special. Dinner started with warm homemade bread and oil for dipping. Scott had the braised short ribs, I had the steak tips with grilled veggies — both were absolutely delicious. We ended by sharing the most incredible strawberry shortcake with homemade grilled biscuits, lemon curd, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream (with a candle, of course!). 🍓✨ In a city with so many options, Joey’s was truly the best choice. We’ll definitely be back — even though it’s a two-hour drive, it’s absolutely worth it!“

“My husband and I love Newton Square Pizza! The pizzas are great, what we think of as European style pizza with a thinner crust. The pizzas are delicious and the Fish & Chips are awesome. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.“

Lots of street parking and a parking lot across the street dedicated to the restaurant. Recommended the fresh shrimp rolls and the pork chop rice platter. Worth the wait for sure.“

“The last time I had pupusas this good was when we lived in El Salvador. These are the real deal. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive. The atmosphere was fine. There was background music but not overly loud and there were a few young families there too. We ate and conversed without any problems. However, I found Anh Thu this side of Massachusetts and can beat any pho restaurants that I’ve been to. Wow! The broth was aromatic, complex, and deeply flavorful. Generous portion for the combination pho and worth every penny. We also shared an order of beef teriyaki, and it was just a tad salty, but the cha gio eggrolls hit the spot! We also tried the seafood stir-fry with flat noodles, and that was full of flavor. Food came out quite fast, and the service was friendly. I can’t wait to go back!“

We love to order the salted squid entree as an appetizer for three of us to share. We have worked our way around the menu for our individual entrees and like to switch things up among bun, pho, and rice meals.“

Lots of good things to say about this place and it will be my go to for interesting food to eat and purchasing of food items moving forward. I love the focus of this marketplace as you can have a bite to eat such as their flavorful shawarma sandwich’s. Also, their bakery is soooo good! I had a pistachio chocolate croissant 🥐 that is to die for. (Much better than some fancy bakery shops) Oh and most importantly their prices are really affordable in my opinion. These are some of the things you can get high quality at a fair price. Tahini paste, spices, prepared sauces and prepared food in their refrigerated section. The garlic sauce is on point. Olive oils, preserved jams, coffee, etc. They carry quite a bit of inventory of various interesting food items. Definitely make a trip to this wonderful store. You won’t be disappointed! 😊“

“I just got some takeout from El Buen Sanor on Chandler St in Worcester, which was delivered in about 30 minutes. Everything was still hot, and each dish was seasoned perfectly. I had the mangu with a fried egg, fried cheese, and salami. I also ordered the pernil plate with yellow rice, which came with some nice crispy pieces. The Beef empanada is one of the best I've ever had. Last but not least, the kidney beans. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to in the future, prices reasonable, all-around some great Dominican food.“
