“Out-of-towner here - , Walking into Picasso’s Pizza felt like stumbling into the kind of night you don’t plan but always remember. What started as grabbing a bite turned into genuine conversations, laughter with new people, and a sense of comfort that made being in a new place feel easy. The pool table added a playful, laid-back energy that broke the ice and turned strangers into familiar faces fast.
The pizza hit the spot. What really stayed with me is how easy it was to join the locals. I felt no rush, no pretense, just good vibes and honest connection. Picasso’s isn’t just somewhere you eat; it’s somewhere you experience. I left feeling lighter, happier, and grateful for a night that reminded me how simple joy can be when you’re in the right place with the right people. If you’re visiting and want to feel like you’re part of the scene, even just for a night, this is the place.
Last thing, if you are afraid to initiate conversation DONT BE! There are all walks of Lyfe. Have a ball and mingle. You won’t regret it.“

“I visit Ivy Tavern everytime I come to Providence, RI. Excellent food and drink, but even more important, to me, are the friendly folks that run the tavern. Because they are always genuinely friendly, treating every customer with kindness, the regulars that frequent the tavern always seem to be more sociable than I normally see in most places. This is a hard to find quality, these days.“

“First off, let’s start with the space. I’m visiting from a big cityyy so my expectations can be a little high — but this place is absolutely breathtaking. The vibe is cozy, upscale, and still relaxed enough to just kick back and enjoy. It feels refreshing and thoughtfully designed without trying too hard.
Bianca, the bartender who helped me out, was incredible. She has such a well-crafted, extensive specialty knowledge and was amazing at guiding me through the menu when my indecisiveness kicked in (which happens often). She’s relatable, friendly, a little edgy in the best way, and the space felt very queer-friendly and welcoming because of that energy. I’m already looking forward to coming back and chatting it up with B again.
Only small con: the payment process. It would be a nice upgrade to have handheld devices so guests don’t have to give up their phones to close out. Small detail, but it would elevate the experience even more.
Overall, a fantastic spot and definitely worth visiting.“

“Typical tavern style restaurant. Lots of bar and high top seating. Menu was basic American fare and tasty. Service was friendly but a little slow. Place was empty so I think that the one person they had on (working as bartender and waiter) was too busy.“

“Been going to Dave's for decades and always a good experience, even if just looking to play pool and drink. Ask for Mike the bartender. I miss the free popcorn but that was pre-covid.“

“The Canton location is definitely way better than this one but still the same fun game here! And it has good deals and good drinks. Service is a little slower here and the setup for reservations and still not getting top floor stinks but overall great fun place to go to.“

“Just moved to the area and tried Stevie D’s for the first time. The food tasted amazing! We had a Portuguese burger with sweet potato fries and the chili cheese fries (with homemade chili). Nice beer selection - we had the Stevie D’s IPA and a peanut butter porter. We sat at a table but most folks were sitting around the bar and seemed to know each other. There was a live band in the back and a small outdoor space for people to stand and chat out front. Our waitress was super friendly and the whole vibe was chill. We’ll definitely be back!!“
“574 was a pleasant surprise. I walked in knowing nothing about the place and found out they served food. Asked for a menu and was even more surprised to see Colombian dishes,( I'm a huge fan). I ordered the signature Colombian dish, the Bandeja Paisa... it came out looking Beautiful and tasted just as good! The playing was picture perfect and every bite was a Colombian Delight! I can tell if a Latin Restaurant has good food, by the way they prepare their beans... and the beans at 574 didn't fail me. I can't wait to be in the area again, so I can come back for more!“

“We stopped in as part of the RI food fights Burger Blowout and were served by a wonderful server named Ethan. Not only were our smash burgers delicious, but Ethan really went out of his way to make it the most comfortable dining experience possible for us! The Burgers were definitely a hit loaded with American cheese, two patties, lettuce, tomato, and a delicious Mac sauce. Parking is a little tricky, but the burger is worth the trip or two around the block!“

“I quite like coming here! It’s never too busy so there’s no wait when it comes to being seated. The manager (I assume) came and asked how we liked the food and was very attentive. The food however is soooo over priced for the portions; and it’s not that great quality of food to spend that much. Other places like chili’s and 99 while they may be more expensive depending on the dish you get much more portion wise.“
