“I stopped in for a warm place to wait for my son’s appointment, and what a treat! It’s 715am and snowy, but Panera is open, warm and friendly. I got a small coffee and cherry pastry and a toasty seat by the fire. The whole place was clean and bright, the staff friendly and ready, despite the early hour and the storm. This was so unexpected and so appreciated. Thank you!“

The whoopie pies, chocolate and funfetti, remind me of childhood. I also had the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes…chefs kisses all around. The husband said the cookies were great and had several every night for a bedtime snack. They had peanut butter chocolate chip and traditional chocolate chip. Both were winners! We tried the Reuben, turkey wrap, chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, and desserts. Everything was great. We did not have one item that didn’t taste great. Make this one of your must visit stops if you’re in Salem!“

“My wife and I took our 3 year old daughter to check out this new coffee shop after it came up in a Google search. Let me say I had not met the couple that owns the shop before today, and yet I have never felt so invested in wanting to see a new shop succeed as much as I did this one! The owners are a lovely young couple, extremely friendly, and accommodating. They love what they do and it shows in the quality of the food. I ordered the Pi (egg sandwich) and a cold brew coffee. Both were excellent. They roast their own coffee beans and it had just the right amount of roasted coffee flavor. There were a dozen other things I wanted to try, including the creme brulee cheescake, the baklava cheese cake, and the Greek pies. My wife got a hot coffee with almond milk, mocha and peppermint. I like my coffee creamy, and this was the first coffee with almond milk that tasted good to me. I have found my new favorite coffee shop in the area. Whatever you're doing, drop it and visit Coffee & Pi now!“

“Recently I had a surprise 70th birthday for my husband at the Sturbridge Rod and Gun club. They did the catering and set up for me. They were amazing to work with. Absolutely everyone said how great the food was. I dealt with Lisa who was such a pleasure to work with. Everything was as they said and were punctual. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs catering!!“

“Nice little coffee place. The coffee it self is kinda w.e and just pretty sure its pot coffee. The baked goods and sandwich are where its at and better quality then I expected.

They dont have espresso, which I thought was odd but its only a small gripe.

“We brought three generations to Special Teas to fulfill my mother’s wish to have tea with her daughters and granddaughter. It was a lovely way to spend a fall afternoon. The service was fantastic and staff were very attentive. The variety in teas allowed everyone in our group the opportunity to experience unique tea flavors. He registered few months ago!!! And you had to wait for the last 3 days to notify? if you want horrible communication about financial part - that's your school. Teachers are great. Bursar's office is a constant source of stress and will not volunteer any information - should be working as spies.“

“Denise and her team just catered my wedding this past Saturday. We are so beyond pleased with everything. Presentation was splendid. Our guests loved the food (especially the crab cakes!) and there was plenty of food to ensure everyone was full. And then the dessert was utterly over-the-top. My grandmother, who hardly ever indulges in sweets, ate about 10 blueberry tarts. The macarons (my #1 request) were all delicious. Beyond everything, the reason to work with Elm’s Cafe is because of Denise. She was a delight to work with- relaxed, attentive, detail-oriented. She made sure my vision came to life and went out of her way to help us.“
