“Not sure if the opinion of a very pasty Mainer counts for much;but the tacos and guacamole were the best we have ever had! Food was great and the service was phenomenal! We had the sweetest waitress! Will be back as soon as possible! ❤️❤️“

“I see this is a chain (?) so I’ll mention I went to the one on Highland in Somerville. I had the adobado con platano and it was so yummy I’m certainly coming back. This is a greasy spoon atmosphere and they clearly weren’t used to getting questions about the ingredients, but they dish out some amazing food.“

“Amazing evening with delicious food and tasty drinks! Everything we ordered from the table side guacamole, Brussels sprout salad, tacos, margarita and sangria flights and dessert were incredible!
It’s also set up so beautifully inside so I’m already planning another dinner there next week.“

“One of my dad and I’s favorite places to go in Somerville. Food is always excellent and so is the service! The owner is very welcoming and always recognizes us when we stop in :) Today I couldn’t remember what I usually get but he remembered, and also gave my dad some good recommendations of something new to get. Thank you!!“

“The food here is better than taco loco because of the significant bigger portion size (not stingy like taco loco), the beef is not soggy (loco's meat taste like saddness), service is better (because the employees aren't overworked), more toppings. The only downside is the price but the significant larger portion size makes up for it. When I go to loco, I'm always disappointed about the lack of protein.
Maya: more expensive, flavor, larger portion size, less fluent employees
Loco: cheaper, blander, small portion size, more fluent employees so usually better customer service
Choose your poison“

“I recently tried Don Julio Restaurant in Somerville for a to-go order, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! While it may not be your typical sit-down restaurant experience, the Al Pastor burrito stole the show. It was packed with flavor and definitely worth every penny. The papusas were another highlight; they were delicious and satisfying. The staff was friendly, and my order was ready on time, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Don Julio Restaurant is a solid choice for a quick bite or takeout in Somerville. I highly recommend trying their Al Pastor burrito—it's a must-have!“

“I am from Mexico, born and raised. This place has flavorful burritos, with a great variety of protein and toppings. My favorite protein options are the pork in green chili sauce, birria and chicken. The portions are generous; you won't leave hungry! The staff members are excellent, fast, courteous and skilled.“

The Birria taco was juicy and tender. Pupuas was cheesy and delicious. We also tried some tequila and margaritas. Everything was great. Would come back“
