“Great environment. Great food. I loved the fact that they had homemade bread with a nice olive tapenade. Some Italian joints nowadays charge for bread, which is ridiculous, and Leonessa does not. Calamari was great. Drinks were great. Reasonably priced. Would come back for sure.“

“In April, we attended a wine dinner at the Pheasant with Patrick Cappiello, winemaker, of Monte Rio Cellars who presented his wines along side Executive Chef Andrew Reilly's most delectable dishes. The evening was beyond expectations! Lovely pours of wines while Patrick shared his history and wine techniques. The plentiful platters are served family style. The former owners, Bill and Denise Atwood, found the perfect young couple to hand their beloved restaurant to. We loved meeting like-minded oneophiles and look forward to many more such evenings.“

“Ive been here a few times, and absolutely love it! Worth the drive onto the Cape. The burgers are phenomenal (most recently the bleu burger and the vermonter) and the fried pickles and banana peppers are amazing. Gary, Nicole, and Melania know what they’re doing!“

“Service was excellent. Table for 4 in quiet nook of main dining area. Excellent drinks. Duck confit appetizer with pecan/pear/beet salad made an excellent dinner. Cod entree and gourmet meatloaf plus squash soup were also enjoyed. Warm pecan tart with ice cream and chocolate bread pudding were outstanding. A wonderful experience!!“

“We had a great experience at the Rooftop at Pelham! We got calamari, a lobster roll, and fried cod for our app/entrees and they were all very tasty. I also highly recommend the lavender lemon drop martini - so good! You can't beat the view, and the service was wonderful. Definitely recommend!“

“Greek night was FANTASTIC! We shared the grilled octopus for an app., and we both enjoyed the chicken lemon soup! I had the Moussaka and it was perfectly layered and not runny. The Bechamel sauce was expertly incorporated into the Moussaka. It was Delicious! My husband had the lamb shank and it was a beautiful, delicious dish with lots of vegetables too, that I stole off his plate. The portions were generous. We took our baklava home, but were too full to enjoy it that night...dessert for next day. I never go to a restaurant for the entertainment, but was pleasantly surprised with the lovely live Greek music! It added to the ambiance.“

“So there are so many restaurants on Cape Cod but they all have the same menu. Fried clams, lobster roll, clam chowder. That's great but variety is the spice of life, right. This Mexican restaurant is a great addition for a change of pace. For me I love it. The food is simple ingredients cooked fresh and delicious. If you like margarita's you will be in tequila heaven. They are the largest drinks I have every had. These are not a premixed drink. Again great ingredients mixed they way you like it. The food is delivered quickly and steaming hot. It you like hot sauce ask for their homemade sauce. Quite hot but again simple ingredients blended to perfection. Sorry I didn't take pictures of the food. I was preoccupied with my deliciously large skinny jalapeño margarita. We had fajitas, cheese and spinach enchiladas, chili rellenos. Family Resturant with kind genuine people. What a great place to bring a family.“
“Absolutely stunning venue with incredible paintings, photographic art and murals. Very friendly staff, great food and drinks. Tons of amazing national bands frequent this unique music spot. A varied music program 5-6 nights per week. Something for everyone: Jambands, Blues, Rock, folk, funk, Jazz, Americana, hip hop, Brazilian, Tributes & DJs it’s all there. Been many times and will keep supporting this very special concert venue. Cape Cod is very fortunate to have The Music Room ! Do yourself a favor and give ‘em a visit!!!!!“

“The “Sand Dollar” is a local joint that moved to this location a few years ago from about a mile away. It is a typical bar/pub with a bar, lots of tv’s, a dining side, music and karaoke at times. We came in mid afternoon on a quiet Sunday. Place was pretty empty. One couple at a high top on the dining side. Two different couples at either end of the bar and 4 others at a high top on the bar side. Pleasant country music was coming through the speakers all though a bit too loud for so few patrons. Except for the one guy at the bar high top who was loud and couldn’t put together one sentence without an”F” bomb in it, things were quiet. There are numerous large and small screen tvs that had football games on but the sound was off. Thankfully Mr. “F” bomb left shortly after we arrived. It took a few minutes to be seated as the hostess/waitress was in the back part of the restaurant prepping. We were told by our pleasant server to sit anywhere. Wechoose to sit at a high top on the dining side. We were promptly given menus and had our drink order taken. After a few timely minutes we placed our order. We started with naked chicken wings and the Mrs. ordered a burger with cheese and bacon with a side of broccoli. I ordered the Western grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, bbq sauce & onion strings with a side of fries well done. Considering the place was almost empty it took a long time for our food to come out. Probably 20 minutes. When it did finally came out the chicken wings came out with our meals. Appetizers of course shouldn’t be served with your meal. The wings were good but too late. Both of the rolls for our meals were not toasted which is not how most burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches are served. As a result the rolls were a pretty tasteless brioche bun. My grilled chicken was good with lots of bacon and bbq sauce. Unfortunately my onion strings were not there as advertised. But don’t fret, we quickly found them on my wife’s cheeseburger. ? The switch was made and they were back where they belonged. Despite the missing strings and the taste less roll, everything else was very tasty and prepared well. The fries were very good and cooked as requested. They were somewhere between regular fries in size and steak fries. I’m not a fan of regular steak fries( too much more potato than fry) but because these were like a steak fry on a diet they were just the right blend of both for an excellent french fry. The Mrs. said her burger was very good also despite the blah roll, but her broccoli was room temperature at best and should have been warmer. Overall for our first try things were good not perfect. My 4 star service is a reflection of the service from the kitchen not our waitress. She did a fine job and none of my complaints are directed at her. As this was our first trip to the Sand Dollar and more things were good than bad we will be coming again some time to try something else on their pretty good sized menu.sit anywhereDietary restrictions: Didn’t see any GF options on the menu, which is a concern if we were to bring our grandson. Some things are inherently GF but would have to inquire about cross contamination first before bringing him.Parking: Right in front , lots of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Kids karaoke during the summer, kids menu and an arcade type claw machine for kids.“
