“Been here many times. I legit think the French toast here is the best I've ever had (and I have had a lot of French toast). It's so perfectly fried, and there are many delicious topping choices. My favorite I've tried is the seasonal pumpkin one in the fall. Bit of a sweetness overload though, can't finish it all. But hot tip: they do half portions of French toast so you can combine it with something savory. I also like their sandwiches, biscuits, and home fries. Despite a lot of love for their pancakes, I'd say they are just fine. Mixed experiences with service are making me dock a star. Sometimes they are very slow and inattentive. Even with reservations, they sometimes make you wait a good bit for a table. I guess it makes sense since this place is SO busy. Without reservations, the wait on weekends is insane. So def recommend making one or coming on a weekday.“

“Sip of Joy is a lovely spot in the South End to enjoy a drink and pastry. The service is friendly, and the space is bright and welcoming. There are different types of seating, including counter stools and a large table.I got a plain croissant that was warmed up, and an iced chai latte. Both were tasty, but while I wouldn't get the croissant again, there were other treats that I want to try in the future.“

“Hidden in the residential area is the best lobster roll I have ever eaten! The weather was nice last weekend, so this lobster lover finally came to check out the lobster roll at this seafood shop. Lobster sandwich: It is obviously just ordinary bread, but it is fried until fragrant and then filled with thick fresh lobster meat. It only needs simple seasoning - a little mayonnaise, salt, black pepper and green onions to highlight the freshness and sweetness of the lobster. The bread is fried in butter but not greasy, and the cold lobster meat tastes fresh and chewy, not fishy at all, and basically uses the meat from the lobster body, unlike the lobsterroll in many restaurants that is cooked with tongs. It tasted so delicious, so I asked specifically, thinking that some magical sauce was added to the seasoning, but I didn't expect it to be that simple. wonderful! (The price is slightly more expensive now, $35 each.)After finishing one, I bought a second one and continued eating it in the evening. From now on, I will eat here probably once a week, it is very good! !I went and bought two more yesterday^ ^ Delicious!“

“Really good flavors. I tried the mushroom lobi bowl as my main course and also some of the appetizers and desserts. This is primarily a quick-serve take out restaurant, but they do have a handful of tables inside. They also serve breakfast too under another name. I tried their fruit compote (juice) which is house made with real fruit and it was delicious. Owner was the only one working and he was very nice.“

“First timer but won't be my last. Ambiance was cool. This particular Sunday was quiet...just a few patrons. Small but super cute. Service was great. Very attentive and polite. The menu selection was a little limited but we made do. Not your typical brunch but still had the big players like pancakes and a breakfast that consisted of eggs, pancake and home fries. When the plates came out we were a bit surprised at the amount of food but it was the “perfect” amount. We left satisfied.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Monument in Charlestown with a large party, and I can't praise them enough for their incredible hospitality and outstanding food. Right from the start, they made us feel welcomed and accommodated us with ease, despite the size of our group. They had a great little back corner of the bar set aside for us, we were treated to chips, salsa, and guacamole, which set the tone for the amazing meal to come. The cucumber salsa was a standout, offering a refreshing and unique twist that had everyone at the table raving. It's not something you find just anywhere, and it's a must-try for anyone visiting Monument. And let's talk about the chicken sliders – they were absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked and flavored to perfection, these sliders were a hit among our group, capturing the essence of what makes Monument's menu so special.Overall, the combination of friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and delectable dishes makes Monument a top-notch dining destination in Charlestown. Whether you're planning a gathering for a large group or looking for a spot to enjoy a fantastic meal, Monument has you covered. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to enjoy more of their culinary creations!“

“My husband and I meet here after work sometimes for dinner, since I can drive and park easily and he can take the orange line from Boston. The bartenders are nice, the food is good and it's a fun and low-key place to be. Highly recommended.Parking: There's a lot right next door. First three hours are free but you need a credit card to get in and out.“

“When visiting a French restaurant expectations are high. The food tends to be exquisite and some dishes are here. The Foie Gras is amazing and so are all the deserts we tried. However the escargot which is something I always try at French restaurants was only ok.The service varies on who your server is as we had friends who came to the restaurant after we sat and we ordered before they even got their menus and yet they had their appetizers first. When looking for someone to call for a refill and even when we wanted the menus for desert, it is very difficult to catch anyone looking at your table as if each waiter will only look at their own table only. On the bright side they brought us water as soon as we sat and refilled it often. That is how I would get someone's attention...finish my water so someone could come by and I could ask for something. The place is very small and you will have to be a party of two and be lucky to get a table without a reservation, which is what happened with our friends..who came in a little after we sat and were hoping they could sit with us, but with such little space it seemed unlikely they would even be able to get a table but as they were asking a table for two was leaving. Its rather on the expensive side which can be understood with the quality of some of the dishes, however I would except everything to be great for these prices. Its a good place with potential to be great.“

“Exquisite pastries. The hazelnut cream, the tarte au citron were 2 of my favorites. The meringue on the tarte was so airy, the hazelnut flavor light and moreish. Coffee eclairs have a depth of flavor...and well the chocolate fondant and cake were all one could expect. Very buzzy at 11 am and service with a smile!“
“This past Sunday I went out for my long run, 13.1 miles, and decided I would stop at Idle Hands on the way back. The brewery is about a mile from my house so most of the hard running would be done.I had the Gretel pilsner and it was excellent. If you like Pilsners, this one is great. The patio was open and I had a few pilsners with some friends, enjoyed the weather and jogged home.“

“The oysters are amazing!! Came in with my dad, and had one of the best meals ever! We ordered A Tale of Two Oysters, and is the way to go. This way we both could try all 8 of the day’s oysters. Hailey was our server, and was absolutely amazing. She brought over paper menus to make it easier, as my father didn’t have his phone with him. She was attentive, engaging, and just a joy to be around. She treated each able as if they were her only table, and was great at explaining and offering suggestions. We will definitely be back!!“

“For out-of-towners, this is a great lottle place to drop in for a wonderful lobster roll. Fast service, with small but convenient seating indoors and out. Families were there on a Friday evening and relatively quiet (even w the NFL draft on the tube).Quick to get a draft beer and the roll, sitting at the 'bar' listening to the staff talking about the goings on of a restaurant and commercial supplier.“

“Well ok, I admit the cookies are good, it's expensive but mama the taste. On the other hand, the new lemon cookie which is $4.75 instead of $4.25 would be a matter of dosing. The uncooked dough still of course falls in the stomach. Still a line but it goes quickly.“

“Amorino Gelato on Newbury Street offers a delightful gelato experience, with excellent service, a charming interior, and high-quality, flavorful gelato that sets it apart.Full/Extended Version:My visit to Amorino Gelato on Newbury Street was a delightful experience from start to finish. Located in a bustling area full of enticing bubble tea spots, restaurants, and a nearby Trader Joe's, Amorino stands out as a gem for gelato lovers. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service we received. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their gelato offerings, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The interior of the gelateria was charming, with a cozy ambiance that invited us to sit and savor our gelato. But the true star of the show was, of course, the gelato itself. Amorino's gelato is a cut above the rest, offering a natural denser, richer flavor than traditional ice cream. Each scoop was bursting with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The variety of flavors and the way they were presented, shaped like a blooming flower, added to the overall experience.Whether you're in the mood for a classic flavor like stracciatella or something more adventurous like mango or pistachio, you can expect nothing but the best from Amorino. Each flavor we tried was delicious, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention went into crafting each batch of gelato. If you're in the mood for some delicious gelato in a charming setting with excellent service, look no further than Amorino Gelato on Newbury Street. It's a perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth and indulge in a scoop (or two) of high-quality, flavorful gelato.“

Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. “This place is simple. It sells boba, and it sells waffles. I’ve tried the waffles, next time boba! But I did really love the variety it had with waffles. Lots of fun flavors like strawberry cheesecake and apple pie (which I got). I also loved how all the employees handled the waffles with care. The place was pretty busy on a Saturday evening with not a ton of space. I got my waffle in about 10 minutes and ate it on the walk to the theater. The apple pie waffle was good. The waffle itself was hot and yummy. It wasn’t a Belgian waffle, but it wasn’t a normal waffle either. The batter must have something in it to make it taste a bit different. It was pretty fluffy and held up the toppings quite well. The cinnamon apple chunks were lightly warmed and gently sweet. The “crust” was Biscoff cookies. I think a Graham cracker crumble would have been better because the Biscoff was too sweet compared to the apples and waffle.I’ll definite come again!“
“One of the best breweries in Boston with the coolest vibe. The beers are super fresh and they have such a great variety between IPAs, lagers, porters & sours. Super friendly bartenders and a beautiful, spacious patio which is perfect for the warmer months. Plus they have great coffee!“

“Kushala Sip Coffee House is a beautiful, clean spot offering a great selection of food and beverages. I ordered a hot Café Latte and a Spanish omelette, and both exceeded expectations. The latte came in a generous glass mug, while the omelette was perfection with layers of thinly sliced potato. The ambiance was serene, with other patrons enjoying their Sunday morning over relaxing bossa nova music. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy quality food and drink. Highly recommend! It’s so nice to see that Chelsea is finally Gentrifying.“
“This is a great place for groups and families. It’s overall a great time for bowling and nice little novelty experience if you haven’t tried it before. We only had two people so it might not have been worth it but we enjoyed it anyway. I actually liked the paper scoring but I can see why people would prefer automated.Unfortunately the lanes next to use kept breaking and it affected us getting enough balls, at one point our lane just had one and we kept having to wait for it to return to finish our turn. Other lanes had plenty and it would have been nice to have a staff member try and make it more even (further annoyance was that when we saw another lane only have one we gave a few of ours…? not realizing it would break and we would be down to one). We eventually just lost steam and finished up within the hour.Food service: extremely quick food service, and friendly staff. No complaints here.Food: the pizza was good, not amazing. They could have had more toppings for the speciality pizzas. We also ordered a drink which was ok. We finished the night off with dessert and got a lemon blueberry whoopie pie with ice cream. I kid you not, the whoopie pie tasted like Entemann’s little bites that you get at the grocery store. The lemon cream was way too sugary. I appreciated the whole locally sourced ingredients and the high quality… but it’s gotta taste good too.Overall we enjoyed the experience but it’s not my favorite.“

“We stayed at the Marriott Boston Copley Place and was able to walk here through the bridge. The Pru is a mixed-use center with many stores, restaurants, and offices. It is the second largest building in Boston with 52 floors with over 60,000 visitors per day.At one of the stores, View Boston, you can pay $24.99 pp to ride up the elevator to the 50th-52nd floor to get a 360 view of Boston. There are parking garages, just make sure you bring the ticket with you to get it validated by one of the stores. The T is also nearby for easy transportation access. This place is seriously in a convenient location and walkable to any of the popular landmarks. On Saturday, I started my morning with a latte from Blue Bottle then brunch at Eataly. This place is huge and busy, definitely a tourist destination. I felt safe walking here during the day and night, since there were security everywhere. We did notice some mice in the evening near the garden area; looks like they have a colony there and escaping the cold?If you get bored, you can cross the bridge and go to Copley Mall, Yard House, Starbucks, or outside. There is also an open green space with seating and a water fountain in the middle of the center. I don't think you will be bored! Overall, we had a great stay in the hotel connected to this place.“

“What a great experience at Fuki.. the staff was quick, attentive and friendly but not overbearing which made for a very pleasant meal. I decided to try the set menu which for $45 a person was a great deal. I thought the spicy seafood salad was delicious as well as the chefs choice sashimi and rainbow maki. They had plenty of seating and nice low lighting which was relaxing. I will be recommending Fuki to friends and family for years to come. Hats off to the chef, keep up the good rolling.“

“Such friendly service and warm atmosphere! Love the interior, the booths were comfortable to sit at! Loved the personal photos on the wall and the bright colors of the decor. It was hard to choose what to pick since everything sounded wonderful. The hummus and cucumber mint dip with the hot pita were the best start with! Could have eaten just that for lunch but had to try the bowls. The falafels were crispy on the inside and soft and inviting in the inside. You could taste and see the freshness of all the ingredients! The mint lemonade, get yourself a pitcher! Finished with the homemade baklava, oh my gosh, so freaking flavorful! “Came in for a quick visit and the main seating area was very busy. Lots of people working, which is to be expected for any cafe in Boston. The staff was friendly and lively when they took my order. I just got a raspberry crumb bar and it was linzer tart like and delicious! They had some other tasty options it seemed so I will probably be back for a study session.“
“The true draw of this location is the staffs' diligence when it comes to the initial vetting dogs. I'm glad we can bring our pet here knowing that, while we have to keep watch, we can lower the intensity and enjoy being in the space. This, accompanied by their constant awareness of all the dogs running around, makes for a great time for us owners while the animals get to be off leash doing their own thing.“
“Tasty beers, friendly staff, and some off the wall pizzas (though I haven't had any, the toppings qualify as nutso bonkers). Also near a bunch of solid restaurants if bar pizza isn't your thing. “I can’t say enough about Soc’s. We live in Boston and although we love visiting new ice cream stands, Soc’s has become our go-to place and a tradition. From a customer’s perspective it’s just a fantastic business. The ice cream is consistently excellent, as is the service. Both are exactly what you’d hope to find at an ice cream stand. “Such a great experience at the Stockyard. It was our first time there and did not disappoint! The space is huge and the atmosphere is great - feels like an authentic steakhouse. We came with a party of 4 and had the calamari, filet mignon, prime rib, whipped potatoes, creamed spinach, baked potato and asparagus. The steaks were some of the most delicious I’ve ever had (if you like blue cheese, they bring you a lot as a topping on steak for the price) and all of the sides were fresh. “The menu is quite expansive, so this is a good catering option. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried a lot of different places in Boston. Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. Maybe it would have tasted better warm.Happy to have tried a new place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.“

“Located near Harvard Square, we strolled around and came upon this dessert haven. They have a ton of flavors to choose from, and they give out samples if requested. It wasn't crowded when I came, so we didn't have an issue perusing the selection, which includes desserts beyond gelato. We went with the dulce de leche and the hazelnut, both of which were packed with flavor. One scoop as a bigger scoop than others, but I am happy to get a little extra, just noting it wasn't consistent.
