“Overall very good food, chefs are great. Summer hires are rude and impatient however. So just “for future reference”: The line gets crowded quickly, small place. To avoid the staff becoming frustrated with you, make sure to: 1) Pick your menu items quickly and 2) pick drinks quickly, and if they are from fridge take drinks with you to final register If you do not do this, you may be called out in public by folks at register, and it can be a little embarrassing. Check menu online and know what you want before you go and you should have a good experience!“

“We just came by boat with two little kids not realizing the new fall hours. The employee working saw them peaking into the window and was so kind bringing them each out doughboy donuts. It was such a generous and thoughtful gesture that truly made these two little kids day! We look forward to coming again in the spring (during hours your open)“

“Rise Café is truly a staple in Somerset and one of those places that makes our community feel special. The donuts are absolutely amazing, fresh, creative, and honestly the best around the area. Their food is just as delicious, whether you're stopping in for breakfast or grabbing something quick.
What really makes Rise stand out, though, is the kindness of the staff. Every visit feels welcoming, friendly, and genuine. You can tell they truly care about their customers and the community they serve.
If you’re in Somerset and haven’t stopped by yet, you’re missing out. Great food, incredible donuts, and the nicest people you’ll meet. Highly recommend! 🍩☕“

“Oh I loved the atmophere. Clean, cozy, comfortable... good food. But my passion for cats, anomals said i have to see this place.. so surprised how any one could complain about anything..people were also there in a room for a book club. What a great idea. So i voluntered. No pay, just want to be with the kittys... loved the serenity of the place. Now i can love all the cats I want.. stop by,, a nice surprise... maybe see you there. The counter where the food is ordered is a bit further back to the right. Hard to see, but stop by.. nice change, too.“
“Very nice, medium size neighborhood drinking establishment. They have a kitchen, but not a daily menu. When food is served it's over the top delicious. So if somethings listed on their chalk board be sure to place an order. There's also a larger room available for function rentals. Place is super clean and the staff is friendly. Especially Victor, the owner....ask him to see the parrots. He has a pair of beautiful birds that are often in the background somewhere. They're friendly, but let Vic do all the introductions.“

“We just had the most amazing pastry from Sweet Rose—made with zucchini, of all things! I’ve never had zucchini taste this good (sorry, Mom!). Light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. Huge compliments to the bakers for turning a humble veggie into something so delicious. This was easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this bakery. We’ll definitely be back soon!“

“I freaking LOVE Bristol Bagel Works. These bagels are super fresh, chewy, and literally the best bagels I've ever had (and I've been to NYC so I know bagels).
You notice the quality right away. Also one of the few places that does a banger salt bagel. 10/10!!
The shop is comfortable and easygoing, and the people are awesome. I can't recommend enough!!“

“Food is excellent. Portion sizes are healthy. For example the veal parmesan with linguini feeds both me and my husband. I haven't tried anything as of yet that I didn't like. Everything is cooked fresh“

“We go here a few times a year. We ordered donuts today for my son's birthday. We did it through door dash. I wrote a little note asking for specific donuts that he would like. They gave us what we wanted, plus one extra, plus a little note. It's the little things in life that mean a lot to me. So i take appreciate that. It means we will keep going back. Thank you to whomever did this for us this morning“

“First time try…. played it safe, and got my ice caramel latte, although they had so many specialty coffee’s that I was tempted to try. Owner and or employee recognized we were new faces and asked if it was our first time. When I said yes he handed me a free large sample of their “OG” which was very good, and I would def go back for or try another specialty! Customer service experiences like this are always huge for me and also if your a plant person and love coffee this is the place for you!“
