The store is warm and inviting and well worth a visit however they do ship and I advise anyone to place an order especially if you suffer from celiac disease and have difficulty finding delicious sweet treats. ““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“My daughter’s wedding cake was absolutely delicious. From the communication to the finished product, it was a great experience and they certainly have earned our family’s business. Sometimes you attend a wedding and they are trying to send cake home with everyone, there was nothing left to send. The guests loved it and most importantly, so did the bride and groom. “I've been eager to try this bakery since it took over! I'm so glad i did! We initially went in to get one thing each, and both of us left with a whole lot more than we intended to buy! The pastelitos were so amazingly fresh and delicious, and he made my Mango smoothie with a whole fresh mango! The flan was out of this world, and my friends Caramel Cake tasted like heaven! Even the french fries we got were fantastic! The gentleman who helped us (I'm guessing it was one of the owners) was so incredibly friendly, he definitely made two more local customers! We can't wait to try slices of his other cakes,as well as the other items listed on his menu! Great amount of food for the price as well! All around, a great guy, a great business!“

“It's bittersweet because the food is great and almost everyone that works there is polite except for the girl that wears the headphones in the pink sweatshirt at the Middleton place. she always has an attitude. she always has a look on her face like I shouldn't be here and I'm better than everybody. never says please never says thank you never responds to you when you say thank you. “Great cookies, prompt shipment. We love the coconut butter cookies, previously called coco locos. All the cookies I've tried have been excellent. Note to the first reviewer below: If the cookie is called burnt sugar and fennel shortbread, you certainly should expect to find fennel in the cookie! If you don't want fennel, don't order cookies that have fennel in their names.“

“Went here for some snacks during my visit. Not a huge selection on the baked goods but good enough variety that it didn't bother me. I went here because it was a gluten free option and I need that for my allergies. I had a red velet cupcake, and a sweet heavy cake plus a fruity pebbles rice crispy treat my husband had a cookie but he didn't care for it but I loved everything I had! He did loved my fruity pebbles treat! It looks so clean in here and the service was nice the guy at the register was fast and pleasent! I highly recommend you stop here if you need gluten free treats!

“The bagels here are excellent, and everything there is at a great price point for breakfast food. I enjoy them just as much as Abraham's in Newburyport. I only wish they would open a little sooner. I often get there at 7AM to find it not open yet. Hopefully if they get more business they will want to open earlier.“
