“On a visit to Massachusetts, I had to stop by the Topsfield Bakeshop. I had seen a pic mentioning them from the Phantom Gourmet. Conveniently located off the turnpike, the interior of the shop is very nice and inviting. I ordered up 3 whoopie pies: a Smores, cinnamon swirl and grahamie whoopie pies which were so good! Light fluffy cake rounds with a soft, sweet whipped filling in between. They were super moist and the perfect size for eating out of hand.

I'd be back often if I lived in the area.“

“We usually get our whoopie pies when the wagon comes to our local craft fair. Today was not different. We got the original and salted caramel. They didn’t last long here. Daughter and I decided we are gonna take a ride down to MA to the shop for more. These are some of the best whoopie pies I have had in a long time. Filling is so light and creamy. Other businesses tend to make the filling thicker and more grittier. These are made like my Mum used to bake.“

““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

I normally travel a lot and this time I visited Georgetown for my friend and he recommend this place to grab quick breakfast and It was amazing! I didn’t really expect much but egg&sausage with cheese in jalapeño bagel was chef’s kiss?
It is cheap, easy to grab and go, nice portion size and tasty what can I say more! It is nothing fancy but you can find all sort of bagel and filling from savory to sweet. I hope I can try more flavor next time! ✌️“

I came across this place on yelp and saw how close it was so thought it would be a great pick. I was right! A cute local coffee shop serving up fresh food. I went with a sausage, egg and cheese on an onion bagel. This sandy hit! The cheese was oozing and the sausage itself was delicious. Loved my sandwich! I also ordered an everything bagel toasted with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese. Generous amount of cheese cream, which I appreciate! The price point was amazing without sacrificing quality! “My two favorite foods sound boring to some, but I can't help it -- I'm a savory food kind of person. I love nachos and I love BLTs, and it's amazing how many places have managed to not do these two things well. I have never been able to find a place that can make a good BLT, until now!I needed a quick lunch today and went here on a whim because it was close by. I saw they were closing soon, but there were people inside so I headed in. Sometimes small, local coffee shops can feel drafty or unkempt or just lifeless. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I'd want to sit there for hours. The temperature was just right, and the ambiance felt friendly and warm.I acknowledged that they were closing soon and asked if I could still order a sandwich. They replied in a way that felt welcoming, and not like I was imposing on them (which some places, 15 minutes prior to closing, would have). I ordered the BLT and used the restroom while I waited. Even the restroom was pleasant!I sat in one of the two window bays on a comfortable stool (again, perfect! sometimes they're way too high for a 4'10" to get up on, or off), with a complimentary cup of water (I love when cafes have serve yourself water). One of the servers brought my sandwich over and even on first glance I could tell it was going to be good. No wilted lettuce, no weird bread, perfect amount of mayo and bacon. It was the best BLT I've had at a restaurant, even better than I make at home.So, 5 stars for great ambiance, friendly, unrushed service, and a great BLT! I have no doubt that their other food is just as good.“
