“This was my first time. The food was delicious! I got a large Kung Pau chicken and spring rolls. (I wish that main dishes came with a small white rice. I ended up making it at home). Even the fortune cookie was delicious.The staff were very pleasant. I am excited to try other dishes from this restaurant. I'm very picky about Chinese food, and so far everything was excellent.“

““I love these noodles.” That’s what my 2-year old muttered tonight as our family sat down for some Cheng Kitchen Chinese food. This place has been a fixture in Uxbridge for quite some time and I think it’s the best and most consistent Chinese food in town. Our family loves the food, from grandparents to grandkids. We’re vegetarians and really enjoy the Veggie Lo Mein and the General Tso’s Tofu (especially with some extra spice). The spring rolls are also a treat too.

It’s primarily a takeout place but the wait is never more than 15-20 minutes on most nights. Conveniently located next to Hannaford, there’s lots of available parking. And the staff is always super helpful and willing to accommodate almost any request.

I’d highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t. It’s worth it.“

“Wow! Everyone was so impressed! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The beef with broccoli was especially amazing — the beef was very tender and juicy, and fresh. You can really tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients!

We ordered several different dishes to share, and everyone loved the food so much. Everything was cooked perfectly, and honestly, there wasn’t a single dish we didn’t enjoy.

The only “downside” was that we ordered WAY too much food! 😂 We didn’t realize how big the portions were. So if you’re coming with a group, don’t get too excited and order everything like we did — the portions are definitely meant for sharing!

“This is a great local place for traditional Chinese takeout. The food is prepared quickly and the quality is quite high IMHO.

Vegetarian options: Vegetable chop sure, tofu, Buddha delight, etc.

Parking: Plenty of parking lot parking.“

Had the general gao chicken and it was crunchy and sweet without it being overly sweet. Very addicting.

Pu pu platter: the chicken wing is probably the best wings I've had from any Chinese American fastfood joint. Crab rangoon is also good. Shrimp was a good size.“

“I want to just say how amazing this place is because it truly fulfills its primary function as the neighborhood Chinese takeout place serving delicious food at a reasonable price. I usually go for my standard order of the beef and broccoli combo and the owner has had no issues making accommodations for me when I’ve asked for them. Furthermore, he is genuinely invested in the customers enjoying their food and has even asked for feedback. I’ve been to countless Chinese takeout spots — often times, the food may not go down well or feels like it has too much sauce etc. Not here, and moreover, the quality is reproducible every time I order. “Honestly, best Chinese food around. Always consistent and delicious. Great for takeout, small dining area for eat-in. I drive half an hour past 8+ other Chinese spots (including Ling Jade II, not the same at all!) to come here. As long as I’m in Massachusetts I’ll drive here for Chinese.“

“Although I've lived in Woonsocket the past 5 years and have tried many Asian takeout restaurants this is BY FAR my favorite. everywhere I go they have some ok dishes, some good, some bad. “I live in Pawtucket and I will literally travel to Woonsocket just for their food. Their food is cooked to perfection and also tastes THE BEST! My favorite Chinese restaurant of all. They are fast and kind. My daughter, son and friends all agree they will too travel to Woonsocket from Pawtucket just for their food. They deliver in Woonsocket.

Parking: Parking is good, no issues. Dunkin Donuts is right next to it if you want sweets too ??“

“A really solid old-school Chinese buffet that stays true to its roots and puts out good food. We were passing by and were surprised to find this in Rhode Island of all places. It's not like all these huge all-in-one Chinese, Japanese, Mongolian etc buffets which are now the norm, serving up quantity over quality. We went on a random weeknight and I had more seafood options than what the fancier places serve on the weekends at a higher price. Little neck clams, cherry stone clams, whole crabs, crawfish, 2 different shrimp dishes. Can't ask for more. Everything was tasty and there was a wide variety of ice cream for the kids. The employees were very attentive and friendly as well.“

“The food here is always excellent… I don’t know how they do it or where they get it, however, it takes no time for them to quickly whip it up and have it ready.
Dumplings, Chicken Lo-Mein, Beef Skewers… every time are perfect.

Have never eaten inside the location, however, the take out is always great.

“I've only eaten inside once and it's definitely a lot nicer than most quick pick-up Chinese places. Food is pretty good, once in a while I can tell when it's a different chef when the hot and sour soup tastes a little different. But overall others with me and myself have always been happy woth our food here. They're always happy to substitute things and super nice and polite.

Vegetarian options: Not everything is clearly labeled and for sauces if u may want to check online quick to check for if they have fish sauce in them. But usually if u mention they can make one quick without it if it does.

Dietary restrictions: They're willing to make substitutions. And most sauces can be made very quickly in Chinese foods so if u had a food restriction they would most likely be able to accommodate. They already have many vegetarian and pescatarian safe options as well as many of those dishes being naturally gluten free. Most people can find something here

Parking: New star is only open business in lot, so plenty of parking“

“Food was very good for the price. More bang for your buck than many other Chinese takeout places and the food I ordered passed the taste test. Fried rice was awesome with bean sprouts, green onions and nice wok hey. Lomein was also very good. Place is nothing to look at but it's not advertised to be a grand indoor dining experience. Could do far worse for the money at other restaurants, especially fast-food places that don't even use 100% real meat.“

“My family and I were looking for a new and unique buffet to go to, although it was an hour drive, the hour was worth it! The owner welcomed us with a happy and bright smile. You can really see he loves his Job. The food was filling and I was surprised on the amount of options they had, they had a variety for everyone, even in ice cream too! I left feeling filled and satisfied. The second time I went the food was just as good and I would say this was the best experience I have had at an all you can eat buffet.
