“My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.”

“My husband and I made reservations for Valentine’s Day after a wonderful first visit to this cozy spot! Our wait for food was a bit long, but that is to be expected on a particularly busy night. The food and drinks certainly made up for the wait. We had bruschetta to start, which is of course a staple of any Italian spot; it was delicious. I loved the goat cheese on this rendition. For our entrees we decided to get two different dishes and share. I had the vitello saltimboca, and my husband had the heart shaped ravioli, a Valentine’s special. Both entrees were delicious, filling, and easy to share on our appetizer plates. I also loved the drink special for tonight. I feel specials can be very hit or miss, but Ciao Amici did not disappoint. I highly reccomend this cozy restaurant for its fine food, kind service, and comfortable atmosphere.”

“Non rushed long lunch. My short rib grilled cheese was huge and delicious. Enough leftover for tomorrow. The French fries were some of the best ever- served in a cute metal basket. Excellent service. My pomegranate margarita was nice - not the best I ever had. I'll be back”

Wakefield is so lucky to have a place like this – it’s a true gemstone in the town’s dining scene. “If you want a hometown diner feel, this is the place to go! Went for breakfast here this morning and it was great! The service, food and staff were awesome. I just had surgery on my hand and I mentioned to my cousin how an omelette would be easier to eat then picking up a sandwich. The waitress quickly chimed in and told me the cook will cut it into fours for me! I would recommend this place to anyone! 😊”

“This was the best Mexican restaurant i have ever been too. Classic margarita was amazing, 3 different tacos and the skirt steak with fresh quacmole, beans and rice. The 3 sauces with chips were delish”

“Charm Thai Bistro is a favorite for my entire family. Takeout is still nice and hot when we get it home and everything is packaged with care. I can't get enough of their Spicy Crab Rangoons and would eat them every day if I could. Everything tastes super fresh and spice levels are just right.

“This place is a gem! I was greeted by Geri, who is one of the nicest guys I’ve met and he is serving up delicious treats across the board. We got a cheese pizza that was perfectly cooked, slight crisp, not super greasy or floppy. I know David Portnoy would be impressed! The chicken fingers are delicious as well; the batter was mouthwatering and fried to perfection and the chicken was tender and juicy. We also got chicken avocados bowls that were delightful. These guys are passionate about serving the community and they are backed by decades of experience. We highly recommend stopping by. We will be loyal customers of their’s without a doubt.”
