“My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“

I just had surgery on my hand and I mentioned to my cousin how an omelette would be easier to eat then picking up a sandwich. My wife and I both got a full breakfast and a side of bacon and pancakes for only 28 bucks. It would have been roughly 40+ anywhere else. Food was fantastic as well!

And the service was even better than the food if you can imagine that!

Atmosphere may not be up your alley, it's an older spot and looks like such but once you walk in you'll either smile and sit down and have a great breakfast with incredible service, or you'll miss out lol

“Stopped here for the Hungry man… for $16. The food was OK. The potatoes were cold with hot spots. They put the cold butter on the hot pancakes, never figured out why they’d do that. But, there are something’s in the world I’ll never understand. If I am in the area, I’d consider Freddy’s or go to McDonalds and cut the cost in half.“

“I've often walked past this great place during my daily walks. The blinds were always down, so I thought it wasn't open. However, when my sister visited from Quincy earlier this week, we decided to have breakfast there. Peter’s Sunrise did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. My sister even said the toast was the best she had ever had at a breakfast restaurant. The coffee is good too. The service was welcoming as well. Today will be my 4th time having breakfast there. I had the William Wallace omelet with fresh apples inside for a sweet savory and my girlfriend had one with avocado, broccoli and spinach. Service was polite and self service coffee was available. Not necessarily a destination for brunch but a nice place if you live in the neighborhood.“

“The food is delicious. Breakfast tostado plate is one of those dishes you find yourself craving every weekend morning. A couple of downsides though: it's impossible to find a phone number to call this place to order your food and when ordering online you can't indicate any customizations (like "no cheese" for allergy reasons for example). Outside seating is a nice touch when the weather is nice but during the summer the place is like one giant bee hive. Bees everywhere. Also once it gets cold outside, there are only a few tables inside which makes takeout and having a number to call that much more important!

Dietary restrictions: There's no way to indicate any dietary restrictions when ordering online and I've never been able to find a phone number to call to order takeout.“

“This may sound silly but I had the best breakfast sandwich of my life here this morning. Everyone in my 4 person party were thrilled with their choices (3 breakfast sandwiches and a grilled and buttered blueberry muffin and side of sausage) I’m not a big egg fan but the sandwich sounded so good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and balanced with the right amount of meat and cheese. The English muffin was cooked to a perfect crisp. Not only that but EVERYONE working there was so friendly and welcoming. It was our last day in Boston and I only regret not finding this place sooner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. “I don't know if he was the owner or just one of the employees there, but the gentleman name Assiss was super awesome! My friend and I were a bit famished, but didn't want to buy food just yet. We both had something small in mind to hold us over. Muffins popped into my mind. We saw and drove by Mass Hole Donuts and thought of trying is, but didn't quite want sugar. We kept driving down the street when we saw Magnificent Muffin. We slightly passed it and immediately placed the vehicle in reverse and parked right out front. We got out only to find out they had just closed. The guy was behind the counter and I was pleading with him to open the door and he did. He told us he was out of muffins as they go fast. We were bummed. When he saw our reaction he offered to make us something else. We both ordered jalapeno bagels with cream cheese. He ended i'm finding a few tiny muffins left and gave it to us. The whole experience, the food everything was spectacular.Thank you, sir. We appreciate you!“

“I definitely love eating at this place, it's the third time I've been there and without a doubt every time I go to Boston I can't stop going to have breakfast there.
The service is fast and the friendliness is felt from the moment you open the doors, the place is always full but the wait is not long, the hygiene is seen and felt and the quality when they prepare the delicious pancakes is remarkable.
The employees are responsible and very attentive.

“We love IHOP but we just left the Kingsport location at 10:15p.m. along with 6 other waiting customers as the waitress and cook and all employees had walked out of the 24/7 location. They weren't even there when we arrived. Doors unlocked, everything on. We were told by other customers at their table that the waitress would be right back, she had to run an errand. The restaurant literally has no one responsible for it right now. We were looking forward to eating there but unfortunately, this is obviously very unprofessional. The restaurant wasn't full, only 2 couples eating. One couple was literally getting their own drinks. What has happened to what was once my favorite place?“

“One guy as the host and waiter. He was doing good though juggling 7+ tables, getting takeout orders and seating families. We did have to wait longer than I wanted for service but it was completely understandable. The cooks did a good job on the food, everything tasted great. A bit pricey but, worth it. I got the new Banana French toast which tasted great. Highly recommend. My only complaint would be the tiny kid drinks. Maybe get bigger cups. Especially for the milkshacks.“
