“My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“

“If you want a hometown diner feel, this is the place to go! Went for breakfast here this morning and it was great! The service, food and staff were awesome. I just had surgery on my hand and I mentioned to my cousin how an omelette would be easier to eat then picking up a sandwich. The waitress quickly chimed in and told me the cook will cut it into fours for me! I would recommend this place to anyone! 😊“

“We were looking for breakfast that we could order ahead and would also be delicious. Sunny Girl fit the bill perfectly. We ordered our sandwiches en route and rhey were ready, waiting, and hot when we got there. It was early in the morning and we didn't hsve to wait long before we headed back out and on our way.

It was hard to take a great photograph while walking around, but I promise you the breakfast grilled cheese was delicious! Highly recommend.“

“Went a few weeks ago Saturday morning and went back again today, 12/28 in the morning. Good food and service. However there are only 4 booths and high stools. I can’t sit on a high stool and I know that someday there won’t be any tables available. Otherwise great place.“

Toast was nice and buttery Kielbasa was cooked to perfection and eggs were perfect sunny . Friendliness and Hospitality of the staff were amazing ! . But, there are something’s in the world I’ll never understand. If I am in the area, I’d consider Freddy’s or go to McDonalds and cut the cost in half.“

My husband got a dozen (all different kinds from maple bacon to cannoli.. to apple cider whoopie pie and more! )..And omg.. Best. Donuts. Ever. They are (by far!) the most delicious, lightest, fluffiest melt in your mouth, loaded with flavor, huge and just all around most fantastic donuts I’ve ever had in my life!! “Service was fast and friendly, coffee felt overpriced but I was proven wrong as you get almost two whole portions for the cold brew and it was delicious. My chicken and waffles was great, my boyfriend’s omelette was ok but it came with a laughable amount of home fries especially for the price. Probably wouldn’t return for food but might stop by for coffee!“

“I've often walked past this great place during my daily walks. The blinds were always down, so I thought it wasn't open. However, when my sister visited from Quincy earlier this week, we decided to have breakfast there. Peter’s Sunrise did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. My sister even said the toast was the best she had ever had at a breakfast restaurant. The coffee is good too. The service was welcoming as well. Today will be my 4th time having breakfast there. “This place is great. I am not a breakfast person so I go for lunch. Two great items are the burgers and the fried haddock sandwich with steak fries. Burger always cooked the way you like it. I like well done. Fried haddock is considered a special item but usually available. This is delicious if you like fried items. I am there every Saturday for lunch. Give this place a try. You will not regret it.“

“Small neighborhood greasy spoon diner with generous portions and an excellent breakfast menu. Numerous daily specials including omelets, stuffed French toast and benedicts. I had the William Wallace omelet with fresh apples inside for a sweet savory and my girlfriend had one with avocado, broccoli and spinach. Service was polite and self service coffee was available. Not necessarily a destination for brunch but a nice place if you live in the neighborhood.“

“This may sound silly but I had the best breakfast sandwich of my life here this morning. Everyone in my 4 person party were thrilled with their choices (3 breakfast sandwiches and a grilled and buttered blueberry muffin and side of sausage) I’m not a big egg fan but the sandwich sounded so good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and balanced with the right amount of meat and cheese. The English muffin was cooked to a perfect crisp. Not only that but EVERYONE working there was so friendly and welcoming. It was our last day in Boston and I only regret not finding this place sooner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I’ll be thinking about that breakfast sandwich for a long time.“

“I don't know if he was the owner or just one of the employees there, but the gentleman name Assiss was super awesome! My friend and I were a bit famished, but didn't want to buy food just yet. We both had something small in mind to hold us over. Muffins popped into my mind. We saw and drove by Mass Hole Donuts and thought of trying is, but didn't quite want sugar. We kept driving down the street when we saw Magnificent Muffin. We slightly passed it and immediately placed the vehicle in reverse and parked right out front. We got out only to find out they had just closed. The guy was behind the counter and I was pleading with him to open the door and he did. He told us he was out of muffins as they go fast. We were bummed. When he saw our reaction he offered to make us something else. We both ordered jalapeno bagels with cream cheese. He ended i'm finding a few tiny muffins left and gave it to us. The whole experience, the food everything was spectacular.Thank you, sir. We appreciate you!“

“I definitely love eating at this place, it's the third time I've been there and without a doubt every time I go to Boston I can't stop going to have breakfast there.
The service is fast and the friendliness is felt from the moment you open the doors, the place is always full but the wait is not long, the hygiene is seen and felt and the quality when they prepare the delicious pancakes is remarkable.
The employees are responsible and very attentive.

“The food was good, we ate it all. But what bothered me was that the tip was included. I know places when it’s more than 6 they automatically add it, but it was 4 of us. We ordered a meal and a drink each. Just a quick lunch. The server quickly said ‘sign and the tip is there’ charged 18%, he lost out a bit, because we tend to leave 20%. Can it be that people don’t tip or give leave a small amount, and he decided to include it in the total. It didnt say suggested, it was added.“

“One guy as the host and waiter. He was doing good though juggling 7+ tables, getting takeout orders and seating families. We did have to wait longer than I wanted for service but it was completely understandable. The cooks did a good job on the food, everything tasted great. A bit pricey but, worth it. I got the new Banana French toast which tasted great. Highly recommend. My only complaint would be the tiny kid drinks. Maybe get bigger cups. Especially for the milkshacks.“
