“I live in Bar Harbor, Maine, and one of my guests staying with us offered me a homemade bagel from this establishment. It's one of the best poppy seed bagels I've had in a long time, and the homemade chive cream cheese pairs so perfectly with the smoked salmon. It made my day eating this bagel after work. I love lox. It's one of the sweetest gifts a guest has ever given me. 💕 When I travel the coast looking at lighthouses this winter, this bagel shop will definitely be on my places to stop. “This was my first time and I had a very good experience. From the minute I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile. This is very important to set the tone for any business.

I ordered a toasted everything bagel with lox spread and veggies. The bagel was fresh and tasty. The tomatoes actually tasted like fresh tomatoes! The fact that this stands out speaks to other businesses that may not use as fresh ingredients.

The lox spread has a nice texture and is subtly flavored. I would recommend that if you want a strong lox taste to also order their smoked salmon.

I also ordered a large iced coffee. The coffee was delicious and the large was gigantic, which made me very happy.

Accessibility: the staff is very attentive and quickly activated their ramp for customers needing special assistance.

The prices are also very good. I will definitely come back.“

“Visited this new branch and and my expectations were met. The bagels were fresh, hot, straight out of the fire. And the scallion cream cheese was absolutely delicious. I also got the brown sugar butter, that came out cold and hard so it was more difficult to eat on the spot. But the everything bagel + scallion cream cheese was a heavenly combo.

The space itself is pretty small, no where to sit just a standing bar. And it's quite loud, with music blasting, and hectic in there. The service is super fast, even with a long line.“

Great vegan cream cheese spread and the sauteed onions and crushed peppers were just icing on the cake. I got a cold brew iced with oat milk and sugar. “I recommend this location for their bagels, but NEVER buy a gift card for someone who would use this location. They do not take them. Corporate says that because this is a licensed store, they can choose not to....buyer beware for here and ANY location that is licensed on a college campus, airport or mall. They apologized and have only a handful of locations in the USA that will take a gift card. 😢“

Sometimes I stop by and get bagels for my coworkers which is always a crowd favorite. Only issue is when you order sandwich sometimes there’s so much onion you can’t taste anything else even after picking it off which is just not my

“Me and my husband have never been here before and decided to stop in on our way home. First thing we noticed was I believe the manager. You could really tell she ran a tight ship in a good way. She was guiding her staff through important routines such as ensuring everyone had a task like wiping tables, double checking togo orders (she caught and fixed a missing item in a bag), she also was making sure things were stalked appropriately. Small details that make things run smoothly and could tell she really cared about making the place run efficiently. In the short time we were there could tell everyone was really working hard and were friendly. On top of it the food was really good and would come back on our way through! Also was very quick to get our food.“
