“This is the best experience I've had at a restaurant in a while. It's snowing like crazy and it's freezing outside where I've been working all morning my brother surprised me and had me meet him here for my birthday and I've never been here before. First Juan Carlo was very hospitable and gracious with his greeting and said it your cold and not getting food you can just warm up but we were going to dine so we ordered and Juan Carlo made feel special and great on my birthday they made this a birthday to remember I would tell anyone I know and I will that this location is one of a kind and you should definitely come for the experience and the food is amazing as well!! Thanks so much Juan Carlo and Sterling I will be coming back just for you guys. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would give 10 stars but the review only allows 5!! So I'll do it here!! 🙏😄🙏“

“The food alone would earn five stars, but the owners make this place so incredibly special. In all my years of dining out, I have never encountered hospitality so genuine and warm. The pizza is great, but the Mediterranean food is where they shine. When the owner discovered I was vegetarian, he personally invited me back the next day for the best falafel sandwich I have ever tasted (on the house!). Genuinely one of the kindest and most sincere dining experiences I have ever had! Could not more highly recommend!“

“Just went here for the first time and everything was perfect. It was an extremely large portion for the going lunch rates these days. I got a salad bowl with chicken/beef combo. Everything was delicious and the woman making it for me was very nice and helpful. I will also mention that the store was extremely clean. Everything in the food station was spotless and tidy. Pretty impressive from an open kitchen concept.

“I expected more than corned beef out of a can from the description on the menu. The home fries were cold. Good sized portions and the service was adequate. We chose another breakfast place for the next day. Great location, though, in a walkable neighborhood .“

“If you are in Boston, you must go here! I don't really eat red meat, but I devour the koobideh. We go here at least once a month. And the owner/staff have been nothing but sweet to us. Would highly recommend catering from them if you can. Zohreh is the best!“

“Love the food. Remind me of my mom's food which is highest level of compliment anyone can provide. Food has always been fresh, I have eaten inside and got it delivered through Uber eats and door dash. Food quality has been consistent. I ordered from this place quite a lot. Keema, Nihari, Naan, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Achari Gosht, Chicken Curry, Goat Curry, Beef Curry, Biryani, Chapli Kebab, Pakoras. All of these dishes are highly recommended. I wish they actually gave more raita and green chutney, they definitely are stingy on it lol.“

“Nachlo is truly one of the best spots in Boston. The food is absolutely incredible, fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Every dish tastes homemade and full of character. The owners are amazing and genuinely kind, and the staff is just as warm and welcoming. You can really feel the passion behind this place. “I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. “We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.“

“My family’s favorite pizza! The people there are also always friendly and helpful. My 17 year old said the chicken bacon ranch pizza is the best they have ever had. I love the cheese so much - I know I should also branch out but it really is so good. Also, the salad and their ranch dressing is so good, fresh, and I loved that it had lots of carrot and cucumber slices, and green pepper. Yum!“
