“I took my mom to tita’s kitchen for dinner and we both enjoyed it so much. We could smell the aroma of the restaurant from down the street. It smelled so delicious! The food definitely lived up to the great smells. We got tacos and a carne asada plate. I will be back and I will recommend anyone to visit Tita’s Kitchen for some yummy authentic Guatemalan/Mexican food. 5 out of 5 stars!“

“I have been going to Paisano since they opened. Every time I've gone somewhere else, I'm always disappointed that I didn't go to Paisano. The owners Hector and Emilio are really nice people and are always there. I've never had a bad meal there, and I get take-out at least once a week. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. “I saw a Tiktok about Merengue Express and couldn't let it pass without trying it out. And let me tell you, I am glad that I did because the food was AMAZING! I ordered the spanish rice of the day which was Congri (black rice with black beans), Oxtails and Maduro (sweet plantain). The portion for my Merengue bowl was HUGE and for a reasonable price! I even shared with my coworker because I knew I wasn't going to finish it alone. I did a delivery with UberEats and one thing that sucks was that they didn't have Oxtails as a protein choice for their Merengue bowls but I did leave a message asking if they could replace the beef steak with oxtails and they did!!! I will definitely be ordering from Merengue Express again. Thank you! :)“

“So yummy and fresh! Didn’t mind the wait because I came right at lunch when there were a lot of preordered food. The fresh juice was delicious too. Definitely more flavorful and delicious than going to subway next door!The chef was very friendly too, felt homey!

“We came here for dinner. Service was good. Staff was helpful and friendly. We tried the Birria Taco, Fish Taco, Shrimp Taco, pork taco, Nachos steak fried, Pupuas and Churros. The Birria taco was juicy and tender. Pupuas was cheesy and delicious. We also tried some tequila and margaritas. Everything was great. Would come back“

“This was my six-year-old’s choice for his birthday dinner! We used to frequent the South End location and since that one closed, we got delivery from Brookline. He wanted to write a review. His review is ‘they are the best cookers in the world.’ He also wants to give the meal seven stars. The food was great as usual! My go-to is the pabellon criollo, delicious and filling! Will have to come by and dine in soon.“

“Bocadillos catered my daughter's college graduation party in our home. The food dictated the theme! Year after year, my daughter has followed their "Empanda Truck" at the Snow Port in Boston. Last winter, she insisted that I go too, just so I could taste the empanadas. They were absolutely mouth wateringly delicious!!!! So much so that when it came time to choose who would cater her grad party, the choice was easy! Since Carribean/Latin American food was the menu, we complimented it by hosting a full blown Fiesta with a margarita bar and more for 40 people! We had the food prepared in advance and everything was delicious and piping hot! Our host/chef added to the fastivities with his knowledge of the food, his kindness, and his sense of humor. The cost was very reasonable as well. WARNING: Once you have these empanadas, you will never be able to eat anyone elses again.

Vegetarian options: My favorite empanada is vegetarian!!! And I'm not a vegetarian. My favorite is the corn & cheese, and my second favorite is the black bean.“

The Causa Limeña was indeed very much like the original Causa limeña and their Peruvian drinks and deserts (Suspiro Limeño and Lúcuma Mousse) were absolutely fabulous. “The ladies behind the counter took my dairy allergy seriously and helped me find something to enjoy. I had the carnitas tacos, without cheese, and rice and black beans on the side. They made my food first out of the rest of my party, and took the time to clean the grill before hand. The tacos were delicious - the beans and rice were a little bland and much better when I added them to the tacos. I'd recommend speaking to the staff about possible options if you have food allergies.“

“Tiny, inexpensive ,no frills place with friendly young staff serving up classic Dominican tostados, toasted sandwiches. Takeout only, but they have plenty of outdoor seating. Sandwiches were delicious but a real surprise was the quality of the fruit smoothies! My mango and passion fruit smoothie was so rich and summery, not drenched in sugar at all.“

“This place is authentic Dominican food. I been to several DR restaurant and this is my go to for 3 reasons:portions ,price and flavor. I have tried the beef pastelito and the chicken 10/10. I always get the rice with pigeon peas, the fried pork belly and sweet plantain. They give generous amounts and the food is always fresh hot and delicious. I literally drive into Boston to come here on Saturday late mornings/early afternoons to get the pastelito. Even the selection of beverages are delish! “I had a great experience at Beantown Taqueria! The food overall was phenomenal — super flavorful, fresh, and definitely authentic.

I tried the flan, and while it was a little different from what I’ve had elsewhere, it was still good — just a unique twist. The horchata was decent too, though it tasted more like cinnamon milk than traditional horchata. A bit watered down, if that makes sense. Not a dealbreaker at all — just something small they could tweak.

The portion sizes were great, and even though you’re paying Cambridge prices, I felt like the quality and experience were totally worth it. I really don’t have anything negative to say — just a couple minor things that could be improved.
