“I had ordered the Mango Pomelo Sago Nectar (with boba) and Red-Braised Pork Belly. The drink was good not-too sweet and went down pretty easily. The pork belly was cooked perfectly. The fat was soft and melted in my mouth! The founder also sells inkwork based on places she had visited and I saw one that was Star Wars themed.
I visited the shop at around 3 pm so it wasn't super busy, the staff are friendly, and the vibes were great! The interior is colorful and there were plenty of comfy seats.“

“Let me start out by saying BEST HONEYDEW MILK TEA EVER!! Seriously, I have tried A LOT of milk tea in my day and what I ordered from sweet boba was the best milk tea I’ve had hands down. I am so excited that Sweet Boba is here! The staff is so kind and it’s such a nice experience. I will definitely be going here a lot!“

“Really fast service. I ordered a peach cream matcha and it was really good. A lot of variety in drinks, a lot more than Gongcha's, and I personally prefer these flavors as well. The boba itself was really good, consistently sweet and chewy. Goncha and Kung Fu Tea are similarly priced, so it's up to you on which flavor or boba floats your boat, however I would choose Kung Fu Tea over Gongcha any day.“

“Atmosphere here is great! I go every weekend to this location after rowing on the Charles. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are very kind! The boba tea is delicious- I recommend the grapefruit green tea or milk tea which are both refreshing. The grapefruit green tea is especially perfectly sweet! “In all honesty, the service here is wonderful employees always patient and answer any questions you have The atmosphere is great drinks are low price even at the large drink with Boba it’s only $10 and they don’t pressure you to tip, but with the service you’ll get you just want to tip the most amount you can. Five stars wonderful.“

“My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!“

“As a Waltham local, this is my favorite bubble tea shop in town. My go-to drinks are the Wintermelon Milk Tea with Herbal Jelly and the Coco Cream WOW Milk Cap. I tried their Almond and Taro Milk Teas, but they tasted too powdery for my liking. They have a BOGO deal on Wednesdays which makes coming here even sweeter!“

“The desserts are amazing we got there too late and missed the mochi donuts. But we got this other mochi dessert with cream and custard filling. It was so so good, and even better the next day. One has a match cream and another a custard filling. We will definitely be back to try their other stuff.“

“This spot is my Arlington gem. The seafood is fresh and the portion is good. I always order takeout and the food is ready within 20’. I’ve tried another restaurant on Arlington’s top rated list and Umi remains my go-to.

Increasingly I have noticed "Bubble Tea" prices rising and sizes shrinking (starting pre-COVID).Kung Fu Tea was one of the earliest adopters of this mentality. Gong Cha is great because they directly compete for the available market space and force prices to stabilize and provide a basis for comparison.This particular kiosk-style Gong Cha does not have as vast a menu as some other brick&mortars within the Gong Cha chain, but they have enough.I'm happy many more people have access to this type of drink (a few years ago there was no company in Metro West). I was told that Gong Cha still brews quite a bit of tea rather than using the popular powders.“

“This place has all the advantages of the Caffe Nero that it used to be without any of the disadvantages. In other word's it's spacious, has a variety of furniture and seating options (equally good spot for solo laptop work, relaxed book time, group meeting), lots of outlets, nice big windows, a great menu with reasonable price point. Compared to before the business turned over the coffee is better (IMO) and cheaper and the place no longer feels depressing in that way that carbon copy coffee franchises do. The people who work here are so nice and there is always a place to sit! In fact it's too easy to find a spot—please visit Cafe Lava and Bento and support this business so that we can keep them around.“
