The drink menu offers all the classic boba flavors you'd expect, along with some unique twists like a soda lemonade drink that was super refreshing on a hot day. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, with plenty of seating, including cozy spots in the back if you want to get some work done as WiFi is available.
We weren’t planning to eat, but ended up ordering the popcorn chicken. It was the perfect snack. Later, we ordered their chicken teriyaki. The food is freshly made by the owner’s mother, which makes the whole experience feel extra special and fresh.
Beyond the food and drinks, this shop is full of surprises: handmade teas, press-on nails, and original artwork created by the owner, who is an incredible artist. You can purchase prints or postcards of their work, which adds such a personal and creative touch to the space. This is a family-owned gem with heart, flavor, and creativity. “My family loves Banh Mi Cafe! We have tried all different menu items here and everything is consistently delicious. Highly recommend the Vermicelli Bowl, Fresh Spring Roll, Banh Mi, Kumquat Ai Yu Lemon Basil Seed drink, Peach Tea, Ube Flaming Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée drink, Macarons, and Vietnamese Fermented Yogurt!! I’m also generally not a fan of food places that try to avoid human contact, where you are greeted by a machine and not a person. The person behind the counter was alone and very busy though so I get it. She had a lot on her plate but made a point to be cordial anyway.“
