“Was in desperate need of a birthday cake last minute. After trying 6 other bakeries, I tried Giovanni’s- hoping! They were able to fill my order without hesitation!
When I went to pick up my cake, it was ready on time, and the staff was super helpful. The cake was beautiful, reasonably priced. It was also delicious!
I found Giovanni’s out of desperation, but they will now be my go to bakery!“
“Best baked bread anywhere! I am in my 60's and lived just a few houses away as a kid and always went there on Sundays. The Balboni's were so nice to everyone, all the time. I wish I still lived close by. the earliest memories of them, I was 4 or 5 years old. I miss those days (and the bread sticks LOL)“

“This bakery used to be fab. It's now expensive and the quality is fine but it's really not special. it's gone way down hill except for the prices, they have stayed up. Don't go. you won't get sick, but you'll feel cheated“

The best part is you are appreciated for your hard work. I've also had the pleasure of working directly with Dan (the owner) who is always willing to help you with any questions you have. “What an amazing place. I was on vacation visiting my Mom. She said this place was great and we should go there. We went twice. Right after my plane landed. It was a little slow but I was just enjoying the scenery! The 2nd visit was the breakfast before I left. It was amazing! A yummy himemade quiche and fresh brewed coffee. I was in heaven! I also love the 4 little kittens out front with their momma. Over all it was a wonderful experience!“

“went to the sarasota county fair before I left I want to buy two cinnamon buns before I left the fair. I bought two and I eat them with my wife when I got home. they ate the best cinnamon buns I have ever had!! five stars but I do wish they had a way you cam order online. Hopefully they have a way in the future because I can't go chase them down 😆“

This was absolutely amazing! The Oreo milkshake was one of the best I’ve ever had — thick, cold, and packed with rich cookie and cream flavor. The whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top were the perfect touch. I also appreciated the tamper-evident seal — it felt clean and safe.
And those mini cinnamon rolls? Next level! Classic, caramel, pecan, and Oreo — each one was fresh, warm, and melted in my mouth. They didn’t skimp on the toppings either — everything was loaded and super tasty. Honestly, it was hard to stop eating.

“Phyl is fantastic--she's fun, easy to talk to, and goes the extra mile to take care of her customers (even if that means delivering them cake tasting samples in the middle of a rainstorm!). Phyl was so easy to work with, using primarily text message and a few phone calls to connect. Her cake was DELICIOUS (and got so many compliments from our guests), and it was incredibly reasonably-priced in comparison to all the other shops we looked at. We will come back to Phyl for all our custom cake needs in the future.“
