“We ate lunch at Himalaya Curry House for the first time this afternoon. We highly recommend. The food was phenomenal-excellent Northern Indian cuisine. (I don’t like Southern Indian cuisine. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are very generous and we both went home with enough left over for another entire meal. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, basmati rice spiced with Cumin. My daughter had the Black Pepper chicken, same rice and we shared a side of Aloo Gobi cauliflower florets in a spicy, creamy sauce. There was complimentary chutneys (3 different flavors served with pita crackers. My patient’s family is from Northern India and the mom cooks exquisite Indian food. Fed me home made dinner every work night. That is how I was introduced to spectacular Northern Indian food , so I have a good palate for high quality. The atmosphere is average. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful assisting us with our choices. We will definitely go back again to try different entrees. The menu is extensive!“

The M and M’s gets a 10/10, cookie dough is a 9/10, black raspberry was a 9/10 and the cookies and cream was a 9/10. I totally recommend getting some ice cream there.“

“Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.“

Service was excellent even though it was really busy. The woman who worked the counter had a nice positive friendly attitude throughout our time there. I've gotten their smoothies in the past, which are always good. I personally find them pricey as they are closer to Boston prices.

All-in-all it's the best consistently good option for anyone working in the area. If you're new to the area just keep in mind this place gets slammed during lunch so indoor seating may be harder to come by.“

“We decided to try this place while on vacation in the area. They have vegan options, which is great for my wife and daughter. I got a pepperoni pizza, which was delicious. The dough, which tasted like a fried dough was grilled then baked. The pepperoni was cupped and slightly charred. Delicious. The girls got a veggie burger and tater tots which they both enjoyed. We had a Day-After brunch last month following our Class of 75 reunion the previous evening. I had reserved space for twenty, but only half of us were able to attend.The outdoor seating was perfect as was the weather. The service and food were excellent (I have been going about avocado toast all wrong...that was wonderful).

Anyway, my classmates and I enjoyed our time together there. I would not hesitate to go there again.
