She even called another bakery to help us find something we were looking for that she was out of and have us directions how to get there. The biggest loaf of bread I've ever bought cost $2.50! And it was so good that we drove 90 minutes a week later to go buy more.“

“The food here is very good and atmosphere is quaint. Can’t beat the baked goods either! My one constructive criticism is the plating of the sandwiches could use a bit of help. If you order a sandwich, that’s exactly what you’ll get and it will be tasty but adding a pickle spear and a handful of potato chips would make all the difference in the world in the presentation. Either that or serve sandwiches on smaller plates bc they look lonely on the larger ones. Thank you.“

“Had the extreme pleasure of popping in this morning to try NY Fresh Bagel & Bakery and meet Md, oh my goodness these bagel are delicious, soft and chewy and so good! I got the Asiago cheese bagel with the from scratch homemade scallion cream cheese and I can honestly say this was the best bagel I have ever had. We also tried his fresh squeezed orange juice that was pure heaven and his homemade tuna and that was amazing too, it has a bit of a slow heat kick as you eat it, truly worth the trip as you won’t be disappointed! 100 % recommend. Run don’t walk, support local not a chain and I promise this will become your new favorite bagel spot! Def is ours now! Every time I'm in my hometown of Uncasville CT we make a stop at ocean state job lot just for the Portuguese sweet bread and muffins. This is the only place I've ever seen them sold. We stock up on the and bring them home to Florida. They are the best. I only wish they'd shipped their items. But definitely recommend the sweet bread and muffins to everyone.“

“I haven’t been able to find crumpets in the grocery store for about 3 years. I ask about them but when I say crumpets no one has idea of what I am talking about. I was so excited when I went to Market Basket this week and they have them again. I love them with peanut butter on them. Hope they continue to carry them“

The donuts are similar to what they use to be, but we miss the cruellers- but the Boston Cream is delish! The coffee- well I miss how they use to brew French Vanilla themselves, and they need to critique the cream ratios BUT otherwise was fine. Opening’s are hard, have a little faith and stop by and try it out to support them!“
