“My adult daughters and I stayed down the street for a week so were able to visit The back eddy a couple of times. The food and service were great. The second time I really wanted a lobster so spent the $45!! However, for that price I’m surprised they can’t throw in fries and coleslaw!!! Ridiculous“

The grounds are stunning, the layout is thoughtful, and it has that cozy, timeless feel we were looking for. What truly made the experience exceptional was Abby, our coordinator. She was incredible from start to finish. She was detail-oriented, and so easy to work with. Abby made sure everything ran smoothly the entire day and handled all the little things before we even had a chance to notice them. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we could relax and enjoy the moment. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue, and we’re still so grateful for how stress-free the day felt thanks to Abbey and the Bittersweet team. Highly recommend.“

“We just had the most amazing pastry from Sweet Rose—made with zucchini, of all things! I’ve never had zucchini taste this good (sorry, Mom!). Light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. Huge compliments to the bakers for turning a humble veggie into something so delicious. This was easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this bakery. We’ll definitely be back soon!“

“Always enjoy dining at Sivalai Thai cuisine. I especially enjoy their luncheon menu . There are limited choices but the luncheon includes 2 appetizers, small ginger soup which you can get with chicken and noodles, or with tofu or with vegetables and the entree of your choice. I always get two orders of fried tofu, ginger soup with vegetables and the ginger entree with tofu. Love it. I never get tired of it. The main menu has extensive entree options. Also very delicious. Great place to come.“

“Local Korean Spot — First time visiting and I can definitely say that it is the best Korean restaurant in town. The food was amazing a solid 5/5! The last time I visited I said the customer service could be improved however we came to eat dinner a few days ago and they really did improve their customer service — The waiter & waitress came to check on us every 5-7 minutes. Our food was ready pretty fast. Other than that the owner is very welcoming & thoughtful. We couldn’t figure out how to cut our beef ribs and he gave us tips. He also made sure we were okay every here and then. I will definitely come back!! Highly recommend this restaurant!“

“We have not been to Joe's for a while because we have been going to some additional restaurants in the new Bedford area. However, we returning to Joe's, we were greatly pleased. The food, drinks and dessert wete top shelf. Our appetizer included tuna wonton on cucumbers, the tomato basil soup, and the pork dumplings, which were very good. The tomato basil soup was especially rich and creamy. We followed that with a dinner, choice of chicken, piccata, and Joe's meatloaf. Both were extremely tasty and satisfying. We completed the dinner with the strawberry shortcake. Needless to say not all this food was consumed at that time. We were able to take half of everything home, except for the strawberry shortcake :-). Highly recommend Joe's for a wonderful culinary experience. “

“I was first introduced to Mirasol Cafe back in 2016. After trying a Chippi for the first time I was immediately obsessed. As someone who does not like strong coffee this was perfect for me. I now have my husband obsessed too! Try to make a stop by whenever I am in the area.☺️“

“This is a great place to grab a drink and listen to live music. Not a place I would grab food again. I’ve given it a couple of tries and the food both times has taken a long time to come out. First time we had a large group (place was empty) but we decided to give it another try recently. We didn’t have elaborate meals - 3 meals for takeout. Salad, chicken and chips, and grilled tenders and cucumber salad. My allergy free salad had a crouton in it the first time I ate there and the chicken has dark black grill marks. The second time I ordered it with the house dressing and beef tips - it was told to me it was gluten and dairy free. Once I got the salad home, I realized they had packed blue cheese instead. The beef tips on it were terrible as well. The manager/owner comes out to discuss allergens but it doesn’t appear that anyone checks the orders like at other restaurants I have been to. I’m aware it’s always a risk going out but that shows they didn’t put attention to my gluten allergy free order either time. The cucumber salad was soggy and disgusting, not prepared that day. It’s an awesome place to check out for a drink and music but the food (at least options we selected) were not great regardless of the allergy vs non allergy items. Definitely check out for a drink and the music, great atmosphere for that.“

“We had such a wonderful experience dining here for the first time. I had my cranky baby with me. He was hungry and a tad on the loud side. The staff were so kind they brought him a mango smoothie drink and found him some toy cars to play with while we waited. The food was delicious and the portions were huge.
