Her attention to detail was impressive, from promptly changing out silverware between courses to keeping our drinks filled without us ever needing to ask. The food was outstanding! The carpaccio was the best we’ve had, and the gluten-free s’mores dessert was absolutely delicious—a perfect ending to the meal. “We just had the most amazing pastry from Sweet Rose—made with zucchini, of all things! I’ve never had zucchini taste this good (sorry, Mom!). Light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. Huge compliments to the bakers for turning a humble veggie into something so delicious. “The Power of Juice is an incredible place. They have many magical juices that can make you feel better instantly. They have essential oils that help with sinuses and also have a magical soda water that can help with headaches/migraines and much much more!The staff at Power of Juice is incredible, I have been in a few times now not feeling well at all and each staff member always took the time to recommend something to help with how I was feeling and I never felt rushed, one of which days was Christmas Eve the store was slammed and the staff member didn’t let that get in the way from taking me over to show me a new essential oil they just got in to help with my massive sinus headache. Power of juice is now my go to place for a pick me up juice or if I need something for when I’m not feeling well, I now try this before taking over the counter medicine.“

“We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣“

Giant chunks of lobster were buried amongst the creamy noodles. We shared the lobster dish and it was plenty. \nThe fresh cod/ Fish-n-chips was also excellent, flaky light white fish. We waited 45 mins for our table, while sipping hot spiced cider - the food was well worth the wait.“

“Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! “If you’re coming to visit Newport and haven’t heard of Jo’s, it’s because it’s a hidden gem! Amazing local farm-to-table options that keep us and those who visit us asking to go back to that one place in Newport, I really loved! The service to guests with one or more allergies was superb! The chef personally came to our table on each visit to discuss what meals were safe to order. I have multiple allergies, so sometimes they would have made me my own off-the-menu special dish. I’ve never gotten sick once, and everyone who goes there with us when they visit always asks to go back on their next trip! ♥️“

“My good friends live near this great restaurant. They treated me to the best Mexican dinner here. I ordered the usual combination plate, without the rice. Excellent presentation and the flavor profile as well as the cuisine was cooked to perfection. Excellent service along with a remarkably wide variety of menu choices. We lived in Southern Arizona for 17 years. The Fiesta restaurant in Somerset serves meals equal the the best of the very best in South Tucson. I plan to visit my friends again this Fall. Our waitress was engaging, personable, and even took the time to share some Rhode Island folklore with us, which made the evening feel extra special. “Upon walking in, there are a few seated tables to the left and a few high tops to the right. All the tables are fairly spacious. Self seating and order at the counter. They have a good variety of baked goods. Everything looked really fresh tasty. They have drink specials (lattes). We ordered D'S Country Breakfast (comes with sausage, bacon, toast and home fries), egg and cheese on English, blueberry pancakes (very fluffy and plenty of blueberries), and Sunny Toast (with avocado and there's vegemite spread on the toast). They also have cold pressed juice made to order. We got the Healthy Heart (carrot, apple, ginger). Great spot where all the locals go and for people that are visiting the area.“
