“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.“

“What an enjoyable late lunch! it was cold and snowy but the warmth and comfort offered by Troquet made for a simply great afternoon. Really: fabulous French onion soup with delicious cheese on a winter day - it doesn't get better. Unusual and delicious Caesar salad on a half of Romaine - it exudes healthy. And a fried chicken chicken sandwich (w/frites) rounds everything out nicely. Highly recommend for a mid-day winter break.“

“We always have the best experience here! My boyfriend and I had our 1st date here, 1 year ago today and wanted to recreate it. We let the restraunt know via an OpenTable reservation note for the sole purpose of getting the same booth, and they over exceeded our expectations! The Moxie team set aside our exact table for us with a very personal hand written note congratulating us for the occasion. Additionally, they had an eager server just as excited as us with a complimentary bottle of champagne. Since our first date we have chosen to celebrate Valentine's Day & other special occasions here, as we have always had such an amazing experience and great food (best Cesar salad we've ever had!). They ended the night with a special desert which left my boyfriend and I both blown away with the effort and dedication they put into making our occasion special. We recommend to anyone for great food and great service! Thank you again the moxie team for making this so special, we are excited to return for our next occasion!“

“The food was 10/10! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was immaculate from booking the reservation to the minute, we walked in we were greeted and seated right away. Our waiter was amazing. He went above and beyond, explaining all the dishes and drinks, and he was very, very knowledgeable. Even the chef came out to talk to us for a little bit and he truly is an amazing chef. Definitely recommend this restaurant. It is a 10 out of 10 would definitely go back in a heart beat. Try the patties! I 100% recommend the patties .“

“Stopped in on a Thursday night with the family, no reservations, and waited about 35 minutes for a table. Totally worth it.

We ordered two pizzas, the burrata salad, and a charcuterie board, and everything hit the mark. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, great crust and flavor, the burrata was fresh and creamy, and the charcuterie board was exactly what you’d hope for—quality meats and cheeses done right.

Food came out quick, service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was casual but lively.

Bottom line: food was mad good, everyone left happy, and I’d absolutely come back.“

“Fabulous evening. I made my reservation a month ago and was surprised when we were seated in a faraway corner on the lower level. We asked to move upstairs and the host gladly accommodated us. Our server was attentive and friendly and made great recommendations. Calamari was a little salty, but everything else was perfect! This is always my favorite pre-ballet spot. A nice espresso martini is just right to stay awake for the rest of the evening!“

“I got the sweet chili plate didn’t think the food would be that good from the photos on the app, let alone nice sauces would be served with it, decided to try for the low price of it when signing up, and I was pleasantly suprised. It’s a small footprint so having a few groups of people in there made the atmosphere pretty loud. Not a bad thing, just a notable observation. The tacos were excellent (especially the fish tacos) and I also had the tomato soup, wings (lemon pepper were great), and chicken/avocado sandwich. The staff was consistently kind and accommodating. “This morning, I went to Society restaurant inside the Westin for breakfast. I had the best experience one could ever wish for. Mya was my server. Her kindness and attention was infectious and tear jerking after a not so great experience. \nAfter a long day of flying and not having time to get a meal, we checked in around midnight.\nOur pilot requested our complementary sandwich boxes for crew that arrived after 11 PM. The front desk agent Nunzio said there was no food, they forgot to make them. We asked if he could check to see if there was at least fruit. In the most dismissive manner he could muster, he said NO. The manager did come out and mention that he could at least offer complementary breakfast vouchers. Our captain asked if we could have lunch vouchers instead because we don’t get up that early when we arrive really late. The manager said breakfast is all that he has approvals for. Understood.Then he went back to his office. Nunzio was still with us at the front desk, unwilling to answer any more questions about other options. I went to my room, dropped off my luggage and decided to call and get more information about the breakfast option, how to get it covered, times etc. Nunzio then said “well you guys walked away” and he hung up the phone on me. \nI put my clothes back on and went downstairs and I let him know that I understood this must be frustrating for him and we all work with customers but there’s no reason to be unkind. I tried pulling a bit of reasoning out of him, no luck, he was staunch and upset that he had to deal with anything at all. He gave me the breakfast voucher, and I went back to my room. \n\nWell Mya and the staff in the Sauciety greeted me with beautiful smiles, kindness and were complete BRAND AMBASSADORS for their restaurant and the Westin! I explained that we were the late crew and our food was forgotten last night, she went into service mode! She got me juice, coffee, and a omelette. She was so happy to make sure was taken care of. Mya’s nurturing and caring spirit over shadowed the entire experience from the night before. I asked about the other staff members as they were all so kind and so present as I watched other people come in. Johnny was in charge of the beautiful buffet. Everything was clean and the buffet was well displayed. Keon was the assistant server and presented as if he were leading the shift too:) I enjoyed the entire staff. I was very grateful as we all do the same kind of work/service just like I do on the plane. Kindness always wins. Hope to see their lovely manager Sandra and everyone again soon. Mya and Sauciety gave me the best experience ever!“

“The Square Cafe is now my go-to spot. Their bread pudding is the star - I'm still dreaming about it. The holiday cocktail menu is fun creative and festive. The Sesame Salmon is a masterpiece - perfectly seared with a crispy crust while staying tender inside. The spicy soy beurre blanc sauce and wakame seaweed salad create an amazing blend of flavors and textures. What makes this place truly special is the exceptional service. Sean, Amanda, and Jimmy created such a welcoming atmosphere for our party of 9. Jimmy didn't miss a beat and was very attentive. Sean & Amanda's friendly personalities made the experience even better. Thank you! Whether you're coming for the amazing bread pudding (which you absolutely should) or the delicious food and cocktails, their warm hospitality made our visit extra special. Five stars, easily one of the best dining experiences on the South Shore.“

“Staying at this hotel, I decided to try their complimentary breakfast this morning — and it was a pleasant surprise! I ordered the pancakes, and they were excellent — crispy on the edges, soft and fluffy inside. The sausage was especially memorable, juicy and packed with flavor.

The presentation was also nice, with the “CLINK” logo dusted on top of the pancakes — a fun touch. Overall, I would say this was a 5-star breakfast experience. I’m excited that I still have another morning here and hope to try more items on their breakfast menu during this trip.

One more highlight is that the restaurant and hotel are located in a former jail, and they’ve preserved some of the old prison features and décor — definitely worth checking out while you dine.“

“The best burrito in Boston. Boloco has been around for years and still has it down 👌 sadly less locations than there used to be. Affordable price for the downtown location especially compared to other burrito places downtown. The flavors and ingredients are great together. Fast and friendly service. Keep it up boloco!“
