“We enjoyed our meal and the service was wonderful. We shared the whipped feta dip as a start. It was creamy, not too salty with a wonderful spicy fig jam in the middle and warm crispy bread. I ordered the Chicken and Burrata sandwich with a side Caesar salad. Both were delicious. My guest had a huge burger with sweet potato fries. We were very pleased.“

“Great local watering hole with good pub food. Famous for their bar pies and steak tips. If you order a pizza on Friday or Saturday night, be prepared for a long wait since they are slammed with takeout orders. Tater tots and onion rings are the real deal.“

“My nonprofit group enjoyed a private party at Tokenfire. The hot appetizers were a great start to the party, with meatballs, pork dumplings, the best brussel sprouts and savory flatbreads. We enjoyed the authentic Shepherds Pie, perfectly grilled salmon, and a vegetarian pasta dish. Dessert, including a fig bread pudding with salted caramel gelato and tiramisu was fabulous. The service was excellent and the ambiance was delightful. I hope to return when they have live music.“

“Just had dinner with my friend Christine at the Mooring. Her Steak Tips and the entire meal was perfect and so was my Turkey Tip dinner. The server was very cheerful, friendly and took care of the entire bar, Drinks, Food, Keno everything! Absolutley awesome job. “Loved the cozy, yet chic pub vibe and charming staff! We came to experience The Fed’s famous cocktails, but we were blown away by the food selections as well. When the staff heard it was my mother’s first time in Boston, Chef John made it extra special by creating a delicious Seafood tower for us! (The scallop ceviche was to die for!) The four of us sampled the pretzel, clam chowder and pasta dishes, and I’ll be making another trip back just to have the grilled asparagus salad again. So fresh and tasty! I gave ‘Mix Master Marco’ a challenge to surprise me with a cocktail, and the daiquiri he created was just amazing. (Now I wish I could remember the name of it.)

“When visiting from Australia, I was asked by my local to Boston family what I would like especially to try when in Boston

Lobster rolls came to mind and the Original Tommy Doyle's i have been told is meant to be one of the best in the greater Boston area. It did not miss the mark and definitely met all expectations

Apart from the good feed, we were very well looked after by our waitress - Erin - who did it all with a warm smile and kind words. Made the whole experience dining here all the better and so very memorable

Until my next trip back to Boston, will be dreaming of coming back here from 10,000 miles away 😃“

“I love going to this place, and we always enjoy the food, service, except today I request a glass of water with lemon, and the waitress brought me a plastic cup with water and lemon, sorry I don'tdrink water in a plastic cup, so nicely I ask her to change it to a glass , and she was polite, no problem, but next to us was sitting two elderly couple that since we walk in they were very upset because we sit in the next table, and as I was asking the young lady for a regular glass ,this older lady was talking trush about me, and the fellow who was sitting next to me though that because we are Spanish,we couldn't speak English, he respond the lady that Ibwas trush, I respect people, we are educated, and I didn't said what they deserve to be told ,because my parents educated me, I was raised here in Massachusetts, and probably have more manners than this old cauple, they show their true color, racist, think they own every space in the earth, shame on them, if they are so afraid of Spanish people they should not go out of their shell, I been living in Massachusetts for 55 yrs. I don't need to feel uncomfortable in any public place because of few pigeons that cannot leave at home their racism, they are ridiculous, we are in 2023 United State is not only for morons like them, the restaurant is nice, and service is great, probably this young girl is new, don't know what happen, she was nice , but like always there are people that shoyld mind there own business.
