“The amazing service was the standout. We started with lobster bisque, had filet mignon, whipped potatoes and asparagus for our entrees, and finished with chocolate cake and cappuccinos. I have had better steak (it wasn't melt in your mouth tender) but it was still really great, and the overall experience was wonderful. Cocktails and wine were also perfect. Highly recommend and will be back!!!“

“I don’t have too many steakhouse reviews but our experience at Mooo Seaport was outstanding. My wife and I, who live across town and don’t frequent Seaport, Ubered to Seaport last might for what turned into one of our best steak experiences in recent memory (yes it was that good).
We decided on the tuna tartare appetizer, followed by the Beef Wellington and cap steak (the latter, one of their specialties) and said we would be sharing everything. The tartare, a delicious combination of tuna, seaweed and a yummy sauce with seaweed and sesame oil flavor, was perfectly portioned on two separate plates for us, as was the Wellington, arguably the star of the evening (for my wife especially). Thin, crispy pastry surrounded the tenderloin and inside was an amazing duxelles with foie gras that topped the steak, served on a perfect red wine reduction.
However, for me, the cap steak was another level in terms of both richness and tenderness. Of course both steaks were cooked to a precise medium rare and paired perfectly with simple sea salt fries and a glass of CA cab.
Very solid beer and wine by the glass menus (and dirty martini loaded with blue cheese olives for my wife). Service was outstanding. In addition to everything being separated and perfectly presented, one of the servers from another table (Zach), whom we had known at the Capital Grille years ago, had recognized our name from the reservation list and came by to say hello! In addition, the manager came several times to make sure we had everything.
That level of detail, the “through the roof” level of the food and preparation, set Mooo above nearly every other Boston steakhouse, in the same conversation as Grille 23. Cheers, Mooo!“

“We went for dinner on a Friday night at 7:30. the place was packed. It’s loud. But we were seated in a booth which gave us some privacy. \n\nOur service was not really communicative, but effective and fast.\n\nOur food was great:\n- Instead of bread, popovers with butter were served. Tasty.\n- Our small cold seafood tower was enough for 4 people. Everything tasted fresh and was well prepared.\n- Excellent flat iron steak. Fries could be crispier, but still tasted good.“

“This is a great place , The staff and food top notch, I had the pleasure of playing music for a private party and the Manager himself helped me in this is old school old fashioned service, why go into Boston When you have this great venue here they have it all , outdoor dining, beautiful interior delicious food there are real chefs in the kitchen here a must try if you want great food and great service thank you Albas!“

“This was my first time dining here and it was spectacular. The steak I had was perfectly cooked and delicious. Same with the French onion soup. The ambiance in there is also just great for a date night. Our waiter, William, was wonderful and brought us a slice cheesecake for my birthday dessert. I will definitely return!“

“This was our first time going to the Vermillion Club and could not recommend it enough! We went for Thanksgiving, and everything was made to perfection. There were plenty of delicious sides (special shout out to the homemade Hawaiian rolls) with the star of the show being the most delicious turkey I have had (especially the confit turkey leg!!!) We also had a delicious and decadent sticky toffee pudding and small pumpkin pies.“

“Filet was the best we've ever had. Appetizer was wagyu ravioli, delicious and the wagyu steak inside was cooked to a great MR temp. Of course the bread and butter was top notch. We had the Mac n cheese and small baked potato which was delicious. The small complimentary anniversary dessert was delicious, but we also got the Tiramisu Baked Alaska which was Devine. Request the downstairs, but upstairs apparently had a party and we could hear the footsteps of apparently children running. I'm sure it was a private party but you could hear it.“

“The restaurant is in a strip mall, and unless you know it’s there, it can be easily missed.
The ambience feels intimate even though it’s a rather large space. We were in a private room for a birthday celebration, which was nice; however, there was far too much on the table: too many glasses and plates, more for decoration than utility. This restaurant doesn’t serve wine, beer, or alcohol, yet the table had champagne glasses at each setting.
The food was plentiful and flavorful, and our waitress did yeoman’s work in serving such a large group. The meals, though good, were not timely. That’s not the fault of the waitress, rather the kitchen. Some of us received the side vegetable dishes after we had already consumed most (if not all) of our meals.
The entrees are very reasonably priced, and there’s a variety in terms of selection. My Red Snapper, lightly fried, was accompanied by a delicate sauce - I’m not exactly sure what it was, but it was tasty. Others in the group also ordered the Red Snapper, Haitian-style, which they all said was good, but very spice. ‘Too spicy. Another of our party said her Beef Short Rib was too salty, so she didn’t eat it.
Overall, the evening was quite nice, and the food was good. I would be remiss though if I didn’t stress how professional and hardworking our waitress was! She deserved a huge tip - which I gave her, personally.“

“We visited before a show at the Opera House and had a wonderful experience. Although we had a reservation, I asked to sit somewhere less formal, and the hostess immediately offered us a perfect high-top table in the bar area. The atmosphere was lively, but relaxed-conversations buzzing, TVs muted, and drinks shaking. Our wine, filets, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach were hot, delicious, and perfectly timed for our evening plans. Ruth's Chris never disappoints, and this Boston location made for a perfect mother–daughter night out. “

“We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and my retirement, and wanted to do it up right! We picked the right place for it. Coming in from Cape Cod, for a concert at Fenway we had reservations for Abe and Louie’s, but there were 2 at the bar so they let us sit there instead of our table. Our bartenders were great. To our surprise, Bree almost immediately said “Happy Anniversary!” And our drink order was taken. Michelle made a spicy margarita with a nice kick and a heavy glass, and a soda. Then we ordered shrimp cocktail which were brought out in mere moments. The shrimp were huge and cold and crunchy- perfect! We took our time and were not rushed to order our meal, but once we did, with Kendal, she asked all the right questions, offered to split our salad in the kitchen, and made some great recommendations. I wanted my Filet with their wedge salad as my entree and was told no problem. Our meal, my huge filet and my man’s ribeye were both cooked as requested and his suggested garlic whipped potatoes were creamy and yummy! The food was all out of this world, but what made the dining a true experience was the tango these three women danced around each other, each knowing what the other was doing and exactly what their patrons wanted. You can get a great filet many places but I pay for the service and we both felt like we were treated like royalty. Thank you Bree, Kendal and Michelle for making our anniversary and my retirement a true celebration!!“
