“If you’re anywhere in the area, this little unassuming cafe is an absolute must.To start, Laura—who it seems typically opens in the morning—had my order memorized like I was a years-long regular after just a single visit. I waltzed in just after opening (7:05), hoping not to be “that guy” that walks in super early while she’s trying to do her side work. She assured me that all was good, and that I was more than welcome. She virtually started making my breakfast before I even ordered. Wow.Next, the food. The FOOD. The COFFEE. Some of the best savory all-American comfort breakfast food I’ve had, genuinely. I’m a coffee snob, and I like mine on the sweeter side. They nail it with their caramel lattes (at least Laura does).The atmosphere is a very warm-toned rustic feel, so it almost comes off as if you’re sitting in someone’s living room. At the center of the room is a few sofas and a table, to boot.Again, if you’re anywhere near VS&C, pop on in. You won’t regret it.“

“I recommend it because it’s the only place where you can get real juice and not syrup and sugar mixed in with it. It’s a rare find. If I lived closer to it, I’d probably be in there every day. The smoothies are delicious and healthy and the bowls they make are delicious and healthy. You can’t really eat out anywhere and get something healthy, typically. When I visited yesterday, there was a woman by the name of Laura that was working her tail off behind the counter, I thought there was a team of people in the back making the stuff, but she was there all by herself doing a really good job. I was a little sad because Omar wasn’t there.“

“I had a fantastic experience at Smoothville Smoothies. They offer a wide variety of delicious smoothie options, making it hard to choose just one. The place is spotless, with a clean, welcoming atmosphere that adds to the overall vibe.
I tried the PBJ smoothie, and it was absolutely amazing—perfectly blended with great flavor. If you’re looking for a refreshing treat in a nice setting, I highly recommend checking them out. I’ll definitely be back to try more! Also the staff is great.“

“Pretty sure this isn’t my first review, but it’s definitely been a while. Just want to say every time we visit Steaming Tender it’s a wonderful experience both in the culinary sense as well as the atmosphere and friendly, well-trained service from your “conductor” (how adorable that they use that title). In addition to all the menu favorites, there’s usually something new to try. Today it was Swedish chowder. It was amazing. Also so filling that I probably should have paired it with a salad rather than the 1/2 pound burger, but live and learn. Warning: lactose intolerant folks beware, lol. My wife is kind of a picky eater, but always enjoys our Steaming Tender meals. Today she had the pork grilled sandwich. Can’t wait for the next visit!“

“My husband and I have dinner at Lulu's at least twice a week. They have the best drinks, food and staff. The French onion soup is the best in the area (in my opinion.) The wait staff is so friendly and always makes us feel like we're having dinner at a friend's house. We almost always run into old friends there and never feel rushed. They accommodate our "tweaked" meal requests with a smile. Love Lulu's to pieces! 🥰“

“Do you ever just need a good old fashioned American hamburger? I’ve always loved this place, but the other day my grandson and I were taken care of by the lovely Savana. Her attention to detail, with my grandsons gluten allergy, and eagerness to make our night special, was beyond incredible. We will be coming back, and asking for Savana!“
