It was absolutely adorable, with the perfect blue and pink theme throughout. The veggie panini sandwich and flatbread were delicious too! Most importantly, Simone was such a kind, sweet, smiling soul, she truly made the evening feel magical and unforgettable. Highly recommend!“

“We are doing a world cruise on the Coral Princess and went to Yankee Lobster for lunch. It was absolutely delicious, heaps of lobster in the roll and fries too. My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. I forgot to show our waiter the photo I took of him, so I hope he sees it here.. Thank you 10/10 gor food and service.“

“The husband and I did an order during their soft open, and it was super good! We have ordered atleast 2-3 more times since the soft open and it's always good! I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

“New favorite ice cream shop! LOTS of creative flavors and toppings to choose from, real whipped cream (also with flavor options like caramel!), and everything tasted delicious. They use cherry pie filling instead of maraschino cherries. Very cute and family-friendly rainforest theme with rope swing seats.“

“Really good flavors. I tried the mushroom lobi bowl as my main course and also some of the appetizers and desserts. This is primarily a quick-serve take out restaurant, but they do have a handful of tables inside. They also serve breakfast too under another name. I tried their fruit compote (juice) which is house made with real fruit and it was delicious. Owner was the only one working and he was very nice.“

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. “The quality and presentation of the food was top notch. We were incredibly impressed by the dining room layout and staff. If you are looking for a place to propose to your significant other… this is NOT the appropriate place. As I mentioned the food was the finest I’ve ever had; however, the music was terrible. We felt like we were in a 1990’s discotheque. The music was loud, very heavy beat and not remotely romantic. We did mention to our waitstaff and they attempted to get it turned down to no avail. No coffee or dessert available either. I understand space is limited; however you have two of the finest dessert businesses well within walking distance. Even if you only carry two desserts. I would still go back there for the food with the hopes of different music…even soft jazz would be acceptable.“

“Interesting arrangement of lively front-of-house bar and quiet white-tablecloth dining room a bit further in. Each has its own menu although some items show up on both. We were seated in the peaceful dining room, a romantic room decorated with vintage French posters and fresh flowers on the tables. My husband and I chose the crispy potato pave' with truffle from the sides list to share as an appetizer; it was delicious. I had the Scottish salmon with flageolet beans and Brussels sprouts, which were all excellent. My husband had the roast duck breast and loved it. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. Overall it was a lovely experience, with delicious food, close to South Station.“
