“I found myself in Worcester yesterday and searched for vegan food online and found Belmont Vegetarian among others listed. After seeing several pictures of dishes I decided to go! And I’m glad I did! Belmont Vegetarian (where everything is vegan) was delicious and in heaping portions. There’s a smaller (but still big) container for only $17 and change and a giant container (which I obviously got) for $19 and change. I got BBQ, mac n cheese, rice , beans, and chickpeas, and some sweet n sour steak. They also make their own delicious juice with sea moss. I got watermelon. The place is set up for takeout mostly with only 2 dining tables.Definitely worth the drive from NH!“

“First, let me just say how excited I am to finally have a Haitian restaurant here in Worcester. I’m originally from Boston and have been living out here for a few years, and this is one thing I’ve always felt Worcester was missing!

The food overall is really good and full of great
flavor, but I do have two small issues:

1.The patties were a little hard around the corners, and I wish there was a bit more meat inside. That said, the flavor is definitely there!

2.I’m big on fried plantains, so I was disappointed there wasn’t an option to order them as a side. Also, the plate I ordered (rice and beans with fried chicken and sauce) didn’t come with any, which is usually standard at a Haitian spot. For $20, I do think the portion size is solid, but adding plantains would really be the cherry on top.

Other than that, the food is great , and full of flavor. The portion sizes are solid. I would definitely order from here again!“

“New to the area, this was the first Jamaican spot I tried and I’m happy to say it did not disappoint. I ordered the stew chicken (pictured) and the red peas soup, and both were delicious and authentically prepared. The service was fine, nothing exceptional but not bad either. Seating available inside. Will definitely be back.“

I like the fact that they have old school games systems hooked up to the TV it's a nice touch. I recently found out they also have chicken patty was very good I like both now.
