You'd never guess by looking at it, but this place is hiding a secret: divine, pants-tightening burger sorcery. It looks like it hasn’t changed since the '80s—and thank Christ for that. No overpriced avocado. No mason jars. Just greasy brilliance and a walk-up window that smells like sin. I ordered a double chili cheese burger with all the fixings, a poutine, and a butterscotch sundae, because I’m an adult and I make horrible, delicious decisions. First bite of that burger? Immediate nipple erection. Full windshield defroster mode. The chili was so rich and seductive I considered whispering to it. The cheese dripped down the side like it was auditioning for a late-night commercial on adult cable. I bit in, and my soul briefly left my body and hovered above the Dairi-Wip parking lot, humming “Hallelujah.” By the third bite? I had a food boner. I’m not talking metaphorical excitement—I mean I was one more mouthful away from calling a doctor because things were happening. That burger was less of a meal and more of a full-body sensual awakening. It was like a warm mouth hug from a well-travelled cougar with soft hands and no regrets. The poutine? It’s a religious awakening covered in chili. It’s that one night stand you never tell anyone about but think about every time you eat something disappointing. “Nuburger Kenaston: I was greeted by two very warm and friendly gentlemen. One of them gave me a low-down on the menu as I had never been there before. My burger (monster something rather) was huge and soooo delicious! The fries contained the perfect amount of salt and crispness…you know when the ends have just a little extra oil and it adds to the taste😋However, nothing surpassed my expectations more than the service. One of the gentlemen offered to help carry my order to the car and held doors open. 120/10!! 😉“

“Great little place! I'm quite lucky the last remaining Harvey's in my city is right outside my home. Harveys is a good fast food restaurant with great tasting food. Just maybe they would be popular again if they widened their choices more, like offering different bun choices (pretzel or brioche) more options of cheese like subway.
I do however have one little complaint and it's those crappy wooden spoons. Sporks come with longer prongs!!!!“

When we were waiting for our order once a few months ago a guy came in saying he was hungry but didn't have money, that he was homeless etc. Dude that cooks/does the register was like that's fine bro, I'll get you some food and he did, pretty rare to see businesses do that. “Great burger! The young lady who was the manager on the floor was very nice!I apologize, didnt get her name!! She gladly put baseball golf and basketball on for us and was always checking on us. Devon the bartender was very nice. Felt bad as the computer system was down but they handled buisness. Everytime ive been there , the service is top notch, very good food!!“

“Dairy Delight is located on St Anne’s road in the St Vital area of Winnipeg. This is a wonderful locally old restaurant with specializes in hard and soft ice cream, flurries, and sundaes. They also sell hamburgers, fat boys, fries, poutine, hotdog and onion rings! The service is fast and friendly, and staff are very welcoming. The prices are very reasonable and there’s also free parking in addition to limited interior seating and a nice patio in the front. Great place to stop by if you’re looking for a cool treat on a warm summer day. I recommend.“

“One of my favourite burger joints for a chain restaurant. The burgers are fresh made and the toppings are plentiful. The poutine was also very good and they serve one of the best banana milkshakes around. If I had to make a complaint the place could be a bit cleaner and I don't know how often staff wipes down or cleans the tables and chairs. Not very often or at least not super well based on where we sat. But otherwise we always have a good dining experience.“

“Sat outdoors on this very hot day. My group had a wonderful time. I had their Burger Jardin. I loved it. Always enjoy trying different veggie burgers but this one was different and soooo good. The patty was chickpea-based and tasted like a falafel burger. The burger was well dressed with delicious condiments. The sides were awesome home roasted home fries and great creamy coleslaw. The highlight though was an awesome server by the lovely name of Patience, She is bright, witty, perfectly discrete in her timing while waiting on us. Seriously, we will ask to be seated at one of her tables next time. Patience is an asset to Stella’s au CCFM.“

“I'm from Saskatoon. A couple years ago, I was going to a show at the Burt with a friend who took me here. It was all the right things, so I went back again on my own, the next time I was in town for a show.

It's always busy on show nights. I had a broken leg (still do!) and I didn't want to sit on a high stool. Despite the crowd, space was made for me at a regular table.

Service was fast and friendly. I didn't feel rushed to finish and make room for other patrons. The food was tasty and it was a large portion.

The bathrooms deserve a mention as they are very large, accessible, and clean.

It's a great spot for pub food downtown, whether you're on your way to a show or not.“
