“I've always had Sushi but never really had restaurant style sushi and it was so good. The atmosphere was good, music was good and the price was not bad at all.We also had Stir fried beef and vegetables and Salmon. They were served with a bowl of rice, each. These were absolutely awesome.If I ever feel like having sushi again, I'll know where to go.“

“Wanting to try a new sushi restaurant, we ordered tonight through Uber Eats. We were SO impressed - speedy delivery, rolls were made with care, tasted delicious and the pieces were huge. Surprise free sushi pizza which was a nice treat as well. Best sushi we’ve ordered in quite a while!“

“This is a good spot for togo orders, I did dine in but if the future it will be pick up. The restaurant is small and very popular for togo orders. While I sat there and enjoyed the food. There were so many pickups.Dine in is a little lame, you fill in your own order ticket and they make and bring to you. The seating area is small only 8 seats total and no bathrooms for customers.“

“This is the second time I've been here. Despite the unassuming facade of the building the food here is quite good. I've had both the spicy miso ramen, and chicken karaage ramen. They were both extremely tasty! The sushi in my experience has also been very tasty. My personal favorite is their sumo roll (deep fried California roll). Definitely one of Winnipeg's best places to go for sushi or ramen. I would highly recommend giving it a shot“

“This is a great place to have sushi and at reasonable pricing. The service is great, food is tasty but the location is a little tired and needs an upgrade. It can get cramped up there. I have done sit in and take out and quality is the same. Always courteous and respectful. Will be back. This is a tiny little place and gets busy during peak lunch/dinner times. Noticed that the prices have gone up a bit, but the food is still tasty. The wait staff are always friendly.“

“It was the first time ordering and having Sushi for me. As a Middle-Eastern, I am usually used to too much using spices, maybe that's why I am expecting more deliciousness for this food. However, I must sya that for my first time, your Sushi was great and very nicely served and decorated. I have no idea about the tastes of Sushis, if there are more delicious ones with more spices or greater taste, please let me know. “ABSOLUTELY THEE BEST!! I just moved down the street and OMG! I love this little hole in the wall place. You almost miss it if you're not paying attention.Once inside it is painted black which gives a very nice ambiance. I wish the table and chairs were set up (prior to covid and hopefully after) as it is a very nice place to sit and have a quick lunch break. “Take Sushi has always been my favorite take out spot for sushi. Their sushi are just so fresh and delicious. The seafood just melts in your mouth. I especially like their shrimp sushi they are the best. Tempura crumbs also add a layer of crunchiness to all kinds of sushi. Salmon, scallop, shrimps, tuna, you just can't be wrong with any of those. Also, their combos are great to like the salmon mania. If you don't feel like choosing what to have that's you go. The prices are reasonable and not far fetched. Definitely if you want to enjoy sushi at home. This is it.“

“Sushi was amazing. They plated it so nicely with a message using sauce. Service was amazing. They gave us delicious mango green tea on the house. They do not have very good ventilation in the restaurant so you come out smelling fried which doesn't bother us if we go home right away. We would definitely come again!“

“I've been a couple of times now because I'm a UofW student and I really like it. Although it's a little pricey, they're filling and I usually get two meals out of one burrito which makes it worth the price. The staff are also all friendly in my experience“

“The food and service here was incredible, every piece of sushi was a mind blowing experience. We told the staff to surprise us with the buffet and each and every dish was a hit, they even threw together a roll that wasn't on the menu and it was such an intense and delicious explosion of flavors, you wouldn't even believe. If you are ever in the area you need to check this place out, you can get the all you can eat for 30$ and it is well worth it for all of the amazing food you'll eat.“

“Vegetarian options: About 40 dollars for the dinner all you can eat, all really good from the beef short ribs, tataki, the sushi rolls etc. service is a little slow but they are trying their best as it is an all you can eat and they have to also serve other customers, i recommend arriving about 10-15 mins early just to find parking as it is downtown and its a little difficult bjt overall great place“

“We ordered for the first time last night, and omg we weren't expecting that level of delish. We had edamame, croquettes, beef teriyaki bowl and beef crazy roll. Everything was incredible. We're officially breaking up with our usual sushi joint and straight up proposing marriage with Magic Sushi.“

“One of my favourite restaurants in Winnipeg. My partner and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary over the weekend at wasabi. We had a reservation and we were seated fairly quickly. The dining room and lounge have a very comforting modern feel. You can even sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs do their magic! Once we arrived to our table, we went over the menu and ordered some of our favourites as well as some of the servers recommendations. We ordered the honey plum tuna, salmon carpaccio, truffle broccoli, mango prawns, as well as a couple sushi rolls. The plates are smaller portions. “Tapas like” Our plates arrived one after another. From the presentation to the flavours of each plate. Everything was superb. The honey plum tuna was the star for me. The tuna melted in your mouth and the sauce underneath accompanied the tuna perfectly. The two sushi rolls we ordered (crazy 88 and dynamite) were very fresh and tasty. Overall, the experience was great. The food is on the $$$$ pricer side, but the quality, service and ambiance is worth it! We look forward to coming back soon!“

“Had sushi for lunch. The staff are always so nice and polite. Everything was great, except I didn't have enough soy sauce for my last three pieces when I got the two roll/box special. Not sure if that means I ask for two... But maybe I use too much ?... Either way, I'll be back!“
