“We have ordered many times in the last few years. Most orders were very good, only on extremely busy times, all dishes were not at their very best as compared to less busy times. Still even then, the food was way better than most competitors dishes.“

“first time i went here we had no reservations and the staff told us they were fully booked (even though it was like 80% empty)... came back the next week with reservations this time and wow the food is AMAZING
we got their soup dumpings (awesome), mapo tofu (GREAT), fried rice (mid), gai lan w/ beef (good), and some chicken dish i forgot the name of (mid)
the mapo tofu was my favourite, omfg it was soooo delicious...“

“Pretty cute small place. Inside has 4,5 tables. Seems like a family business to me. Their menu is vast. They offer Hong kong/ Taiwanese/ Chinese food along with munchies and snack in case you don't have a big appetite. They also serve brunch combo during 10am till noon. If you are tired of the same borning canadian chinese menus, this is the place for you to go for something different but not outside of your comfortable zone :)
A big bonus to the restaurant is they serve you hot tea when coming inside and refill it for you. The portion was a lot compared to the price you paid, and its quality is decent/above average. The lady is so nice that she offered to pack the food for us to take home, instead of giving u boxes and let u pack it urself in other restaurants
Overall I would come back to try more different dishes on their menu!!!!“

“I liked their Cantonese fried rice. I’d buy 3 orders every week. Recently they raised the price and the container is now 2/3 full. The next time. They started to cut the pork so fine you can barely see it and absolutely not taste. Someone forgot to put in the salt. That’s two times in a row bad experience after buying from them for over 25 years. If they don’t return to right portions and tasty foods I’ll no longer buy from them.“

“We had a good dining experience at Golden Loong, the hand pulled noodles have that nice chewy texture to it and the chilli oil adds that fragrant and a bit spicy kick to it, mapo tofu was also good though a tad salty when it was not as hot but perfect with rice, the lamb with pickled veggies in sour broth is perfect in this cold weather, pork bun would have been better if the pork was not so sloppy and the bun should be a bit more toasted on the bottom but otherwise good as well, cucumber in chilli oil is a perfect accompaniment to all of these as it cools down and refreshes the pallete.
We would definitely come back and try out the other dishes, highly recommended!“

“Pretty big portions, very filling, I'd say it's worth a try. Though please select the less salt option rather than regular when you're ordering, the salt is pretty strong.Food's good either way, that's all that matters :)“

“This restaurant is amazing. Huang Pu River Restaurant is my favorite Chinese place in the South End of Winnipeg, second only to Phoenix Square. The food is always tasty and high quality. A combination plate is very filling, so be prepared to take the rest to go. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get. If you come hungry and leave full, you know it's worth every buck. The owner is friendly and always makes conversation whenever we visit. Always worth coming back each time.“

“Last night, we ordered dinner from you through Skip the Dishes. When I looked at our confirmed order, I realized the it wasn't correct. I then called your restaurant, the fellow I spoke to was very kind and reassured me that they would correct the problem eventhough I was quite panicked. When our order arrived it was correct and still hot. Thank you so much for taking care of us. You folks are terrific!“

“Awesome service, clean quiet place to share a meal when we popped in today. Chicken was seasoned and the spice was just right for me, my sister did not do spice and shared hers was also great. Their rice was also good. We were not hurried and were checked up on by our server . Highly recommend.“

“Lucky Duck sage creek is fantastic. They do what they can to accommodate allergies and consistently provide great food. Started going to the Bridgwater location once we found out one would be coming to sage Creek and feel very lucky to have them in the neighbourhood!“

“The food was great, and the General tso tofu was some of the best tofu I’ve ever eaten! For people who say they don’t like tofu, try this and you’ll be a convert! Super nice staff.“

“Pretty authentic Chinese restaurant. They barely speak English. Lots of Chinese people when you go inside. The portions are pretty generous, service is kind of slow, but they really don't have a lot of staff. So one person does hosting seating, serving, takeout, cleanup etc. Food is pretty good, more authentic than Canadian if you know what I mean. They also have the usual sweet and sour and chow mein if you want it. Free chicken fried rice if you order for takeout over $75. Plenty of free parking in front.“

“Very cozy, price is per weight, cooked well. Wish they gave more broth. Everything else was good. If you get light foods like mushroom and veggies and a bit of meat expect $10-15, otherwise $15-$25 per bowl. Parking was infront but there was some in the back, just opted for the front one when we went since there was space.“

“Stopped in for a quick to-go bite and I was blown away!
The restaurant is incredibly clean and modern feeling but still retains the small town chinese food feel.
The prices are more than fair, $14 after tax for a combination box that was stacked full of meat, rice and veggies, hot and fresh that only took 15 minutes to prepare!
The owner was incredibly kind when taking my order as well!
I will definitely be coming back and recommending this to my friends!“
